Grad nite is no different that WDW or DL giving price discounts to locals– why???? The locals are always part of the problem at both parks yet disney give discounts to this trash and incident after incident occur on these properties yet Disney execs continue to give discounts to get as many profits as possible- stupid and irresponsible!!
What does this even mean lol how do you know only locals are the problem? It’s just people being people, they’re going to be problematic no matter where they come from.
GradNites at DL are not just local schools, I know some that have taken a school bus 500+ miles to go. They open it to every school. Granted, there are some that have been placed on a “no go” list and will never be allowed back due to the actions of the students in the past. And the “discount” is not really all that much. There are 3 tiers of tickets, one for all day in one park + GradNite – $119, one for park-hopping + GradNite – $179, and another for just GradNite – $89 (which allows they to enter a few hours early to DCA). A “regular” park-hopper ticket runs $209 on average? So $30 is not much of a discount, especially considering they just did a 3-day Park-hopper for So Cal people for $259. Which could have been used for any three days from 1/2/22 to 5/26/22.
Grad night? They should just call what it is. A night were uncouth, juvenile adults millenials to hang out and cause trouble, with out a care for anybody else.
Don’t be misled. There are plenty of rude, line cutting, inconsiderate people in the park(Disneyland) and these people are adults. I was in the park yesterday. Things seemed normal, but busier. Things seem worse to some with more people in the park. Am believing that some of the complaintants are guilty, as well…just sayin’.
I hate to tell you this, but they weren’t referring to the disrespectful actions of the “gen Zers”.
They were letting them know that millennials are no longer these annoying teens.
Having been in the park on the 17th and 18th, these were my first times visiting.
I didn’t realize that grad night was a thing and it didn’t hit me until later in the day.
The seniors today do not seem much different from when I was in highschool. That said, they are kids, still. Older of course, but still kids. It comes full circle lol. One day they will be complaining about the new high schoolers who paid nothing to go, when it cost them thousands out of pocket, with a few young ones of their own.
Anyway. The park did seem a bit busy to me with long lines, but still enjoyable and we still were able to mark off most of our big ride experiences with our 7yo son. In the future though, we’ll aim to leave room for the highschool crowd on those days and pick the days that have an older (and younger) crowd with a more family oriented/focused environment.
💯. We had to pay $320 for my son to go to DLR for “grad night”. They had a one day park hopper and had to travel about 300miles by bus. But definitely not a free trip. Maybe only if you live in orange co or Anaheim it’s free.
The difference is that since California is a welfare state, the park is filled with welfare trash that work for cash, and use the government to provide for their needs. They are rude savages, who graffiti and litter all over the park. Normal, respectful families can’t afford a $200 ticket, and $30 dollar meals. So you have large hoards of scumbags roaming around spending other peoples money freely. California is trash, and the trash is filling up the park.
Rod of course is one of the first ones “he” described. Adult mature responsible adults don’t post immature messages like his. I remember learning about how to talk like an adult. Serves me well.
A group of our society have cordoned themselves so far from the rest that when they face any adversity they’re forced to blog about it in hopes of canceling someone and calling it activism and a fix.
Basically HS kids were being vulgar. So wild! Which must’ve been really rough experience for the snowflakes who were taught that they could deplatform everyone else in life.
Holy cow, what an ignorant statement. If you think the people walking around Disneyland are on welfare, but can afford the kind of money you cite… You’re delusional.
From working grad nights, these kids are MONSTERS I literally dread every grad nite. They don’t listen and on purposely act like animals to impress their friends
I believed our school got banned from Grad Night at Disney World Florida back in the 90s for bad behavior. I know one kid got left at the park because he missed the bus. Back then the seniors weren’t allowed into the park until around 6 or 7 pm and was opened all night just for seniors and the chaperones. We had the run of the park once the regular guests left at midnight. There were concerts and other activities going on. Maybe they should go back to that instead of letting at bunch of teens take over during regular hours.
I was there for grad night three days this week aside for the larger crowds at DL after 9pm it was not that bad the kids for the most part were well behaved about the worse thing I could say is some were loud but let them have fun plenty of toddlers screem and have tantrums that far exceed any high school enthusiasm. Hard to believe any racists in the crowd in my expirence that’s something reserved for the older generations.
My bf and I went to California Adventure when it was grad night. Absolutely horrible experience. Had a group of 10…10 grads cut the line at the same time. It was hot and miserable as it is then add the annoyance of people who can’t follow simple rules completely tarnish the experience.
I went to grad nite at Disney World in 1980. We had to wear dresses, the guys in shirt and tie. We went after park closure, all nite long. (They may have closed alittle early). We had a blast. It was classy then !!
Grad nite (2002) is one of my favorite memories from that part of my life, but I couldn’t imagine that crowd mixed with a normal crowd. What a nightmare, the idea of grad nite was that the park was closed except to the students.

Brittany
I hate to tell you this, but all the millenials have already graduated and are all in their late 20s to early 40s.
Liliana
I hate to tell you this, but you haven’t worked a Grad Night to see these HEATHENS run around with no supervision.
Ray

Racist????Give examples

Same, but don’t feed too much into it. Literally these kids think they can do what they want in these parks during those hours.

It,s not free. Maybe they meant the graduate didn’t pay but the parents did. Truth is it’s expensive and DISNEY is never free.
Dan
High school kids have been like this for years and years, nothing to see here.
Ray
Absolutely correct,Dan. Everything is made out to be such a big deal these days ☹️

California may not be perfect but it and those who are born and raised here and others who also call it home are NOT trash.
Wack
Rod your a real tool.
Heather
Graffiti? I have never once seen grafitti at Disneyland or DCA. I have also never seen litter all ove the park. What park are you visiting.

If it wasn’t for you liberals we wouldn’t have to deal with the people who can’t afford Disney. Thanks again.
Ray
Lol.
Ray
Hi, Blackjack. These cats are going to cancel you if you’re not careful. It’s what they do.☹️
Rose
If it wasn’t for you conservatives we wouldn’t have to deal with poor healthcare.
See how much sense my statement makes? Yours makes an equal amount of sense.

Based on what we saw at the springs last night this sounds completely accurate. Fearing for the future. And I’m 35
