At DLR, the change actually brought back the original soundtrack, and they added the new visual to have it make more sense. It does make a ton of sense it was removed for maintenance issues, as it was frequently not functioning at DLR

I remember they used to have a talking skull and crossbones on a plaque that used to mutter those words. Why not bring that back instead?
