Yeah, Genie-“plus” is SO popular because the people are manipulated into believing that they can’t have a fulfilling time without it. What about all those stories of inflated standby wait times on the app? Even if you buy it there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to do the rides you want. It’s all just a huge scam and it’s sickening. I’ve read more complaints than compliments about this joke of a service.
It is a quick cash grab for disney. And it turns out to be bad. Turns people against one another. The haves and the have nots. I wont pay extra for it. I feel it as a way for people to pay to cut in line. I’ve waited an hour and a half for a ride and people were saving spots for others in line, i find that un fair also. I feel if you want to ride the ride you wait in line. Any way thats my two cents on the whole ordeal…
Family was looking forward to seeing/being there for 50th Anniversary. But Disney changes made (fast pass and Magical Express no longer free) increase of airfare, food, tickets and rooms, has put a Disney vacation out of our budget. Along with many posts saying how the magic is gone from litter in the parks to food portions and taste the quality is no longer there. Sad.
