I call BS on the first part of this article. As a former cast member and a frequent return visitor this is the crowd is the Disney has ever been. They say they’re limiting admissions let’s see the numbers.
Probably 100 less people than the maximum 🤣 even 1000 or probably 10000 would make much difference. With any of those they would be able to claim the same 🤣
One solution is to rent a stroller to carry around larger items you purchase. They are much more convenient than a locker and there is usually a stroller attendant if you go on a ride

And please… U leave big items or small for that matter on a stroller .. you may as well leave some cash there too!!! I’m sure a stroller attendant knows who’s stroller is who’s!!

You people act like renting a locker is gonna turn your world upside down. Rent a locker, place your stuff inside, enjoy the park, pick up your stuff before you leave the park….problem solved
Come on… You know this is not as busy as say a pre-pandemic Christmas or presidents week…. Not really even close. One easy thing Disney needs to do is allow annual pass holders to be able to book anytime.. if they have the pass that has no block outs then there should be no block outs.
Was there the week after Thanksgiving last year. It was more crowded that a 4th of July weekend, and I’ve been there several times during the week after and crowds always were very much lighter. They are not limiting capacity.
Mrs.McCarthy is a lot of the problem with the silly park reservation to even making food portions smaller she needs to go home make little bitty cookies for her children
Maybe Mrs. McCarthy needs to help deliver the packages to the resorts so she can lose some weight from the smaller portions.
Anything else you want to screw the customers with? I have gone to WDW for 23 years in a row until Covid. After all the crap going on now and money grubbing they are doing, I think now my money is well spent elsewhere.
Disney is sadly becoming a rich folks playground. Everything that made staying AT a Disney resort is now an added cost. I think it’s tacky, like a guest being charged for the privilege of being invited to a wedding reception. This irks me, even though I am disabled and can skip the lines at any time. Disney shouldn’t be pay to win.

They might not take stuff to the front but you can still have your purchase held at the store you buy it at. Just did this at animal kingdom in March for my son’s bday. Bought him three items and they held them all for us, we went around the park and on the way out just had to stop by that same store, talked to a CM in store and they went and got our stuff. So what if you can’t have it taken up front for you. Option is still there, they act like there’s no choice at all except to pay more and it’s just a money grab by Disney. They do a lot of money grabs, genie is one of them, but this one is not as horrible as this article sounds.
I Love Disney all their products and Parks are second to none. Wish they didn’t have to get into the political B.S but being a huge business their hands are kind of tied to throw their hat into the ring.
Sorry Disney, the money I use to transport my family to the resort is what I would have used to buy merchandise. No stuff for us we come for the experience now.
Chapek world can go to he double hockey sticks!!! Disney World is a thing that all would like to travel back in time to where it was a place you could leave the outside world behind and forget the realities of the real world. Chapek and administration has destroyed Walt Disney’s enter the world of yesterday tommorow and fantasy intended vision.
This service needs to return. It is these little things that have made Disney stand out. Removing the magic while increasing the cost will make them no different then Universal or a six Flags.

They are getting to be like airlines, heard you into cramped spaces, nickel and dime you to death, Disney is not worth the money.

Paying for genie plus is a no go for me. They have lost the magic.
Park hop after 2:00pm is also a no go. The magic is gone.
