So the translation is:
Disney finally has the guts to say we need to live life and only if you are actually sick should you stop doing things.
In other words, we are finally getting back to using common sense and understanding that there is no such thing as a risk free world, nor should there be, we understand the risks and accept them or not when we choose to take place in certain activities.
Do you understand what a contagion is? And that while YOU may not “feel” sick, you have an infection and you’re spreading it to other people that it may KILL? That you would be a murderer in fact, even if you weren’t prosecuted?
You’re right, we don’t live in a risk-free world. Which is why there are rules and laws to LOWER THE RISKS. It’s why you there’s a law that you can’t drink and drive, there’s a law that you must wear your seatbelt, there’s a law that you can’t yell “fire” in a crowded movie theatre.
We have to have laws because there are so many stupid people out there in the world that don’t understand the concept of risk and put their own personal interests before the health and wellbeing of others. People like you.
It weird because I am currently on a Disney cruise ship quarantined for an exposure even though we tested negative. They threatened “escalation” if I didn’t comply.
Disney requires 100% vaccination before the cruise, meaning 100% of the cruise guests have been vaccinated and cannot contract COVID19.
There’s nothing to worry about, go about your day.
Oh, and get your 5 year olds vaccinated, because unless they’re vaccinated, they could catch covid. Remember? We vaccinate kids because it stops them from catching covid. Unless, of course, they get vaccinated and then catch covid. That’s entirely plausible. But vaccinations are required because they reduce the impact. So 100% of the other guests should be vaccinated and not have been impacted severely by catching your covid. Unless of course they’re hospitalized, in which case there are many anti-bodies and well established medical studies showing the ability to treat covid rapidly and without serious decline in health. Unless of course, you’re in the ER in which case you won’t be treated because, well, you should have been vaccinated and it’s your fault. Wear your mask. Unless you don’t, and then that’s fine but don’t cough.
And if you can’t follow the rules, walk the plank because how dare you catch covid being vaccinated and boosted and PCR’d and you’re putting everyone at risk and the world is going to end. Unless it’s not, but the message still applies.

It’s weird they are so angry over covid but didn’t bother to get boosted (even though they were eligible) before a cruise.
