  1. I wish they had not come back, and I wish the cast members were able to get the child to a care center to be cooled and hydrated. These people would leave a baby in a car.

Should have reported them, so when they came back to the stroller they could be arrested for neglect. No excuse for forgetting a living human being. What a bunch of dirtbags.

I was on board until “fierce dark magic”. Sounded plausible until it sounded made up.

  4. Your mom

Because everything people post on tik tok is true……

Should e called the police and let the law handle it. A video of how long the parents left the child unattended and the parents activities during that time would help. Shouldn’t be hard since there are cameras everywhere.

I would have called security and let them handle. No need to get involved in that train wreck, they did not “forget” and if so then let security or the police remind them to be better parents.

With an unannounced and intrusive visit by a social worker from Child Protective Services with Sheriff escort.

Kids are such a drag at Disney. They shouldn’t even be allowed.

    1. SG

They should have been thrown out.

Disney employees are just weird. From the top senior management on down.

I use to work for Disneyland in Anaheim California in The Baby Centers/ Lost children area & ive seen some really STUPID stuff. I had a instance where are woman lost one of her sons birthday guest (that they brought) for the whole day. The little boy was running a very high fever and he ended up with me that whole day & evening lying down on one of our cots. He (Thank goodness) knew his hone phone number & we called his Mom. It took close to 2 hours for her to finally make over to pick him up (because they lived out of town) but she made it. Security had to escort her into the park to come get her son. Then at NIGHT the other woman who brought him FINALLY showed up in my room to see where he was. Security was waiting for her to show up & they escorted her somewhere too. I’m telling you, the stories I could tell you would trip you out on people just like this 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Well, on the other side of the argument … We were on Pleasure Island – this was quite a few years ago – and had just left a club where we’d gone in for a few minutes to listen to some music and a cast member came up to us, yelling about how we couldn’t leave our child in the club unaccompanied. We didn’t take a child in with us, but the cast member kept insisting that we did. We finally turned and walked away from her. I don’t know whose child she saw, but it wasn’t ours. WE HAVE NO CHILDREN, and had no child with us. Yet she kept insisting. I say call security and let them sort it out – a disinterested third party.

Yet another reason to not allow any kids under 5 from attending the parks, cause then there wouldn’t be any strollers to be left unattended or unsupervised

We only see 1/2 the story here.
I hope that parents are responsible, but there are a few that are not. Yes, In Europe, it is common to leave a child outside a coffee shop. Hopefully baby isn’t in the hot baking sun. Common sense. Disney is a destination for ALL, even those from foreign countries. I think with this situation that people should sign an expectation list of rules, and possibly laws of the state, etc. Because not all people live by morays that are followed by US citizens. I’m not saying foreigners are idiots—but given a set of rules, and expectations (no swearing, smoking, violence of any kind, child abandonment or abuse, etc. etc.) is expected.
At least that follows leveling expectations of understanding.
I worked at Sea World decades ago, and I saw some of my share of guests’ behavior. I wish I knew more to comment on this particular case/situation.
But really…an acknowledgment of rules, and expectations should be reviewed and signed by park goers. (Also in various languages)

I don’t care what is the norm in any nation. Leaving a child in a stroller outside while getting a quick coffee in the shop leaves any child vulnerable to either wonder off or victim to be snatched by a cradle robber.

It was November 2017, and my wife and I were attending Wine And Food Festival at EPCOT with our 2 year old son. We were dressed dapper for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy that night and we stayed to watch IllumiNations: Reflections Of Earth. After the show ended, we were on our way out to head back to our off site hotel. I was pushing the stroller when I heard a couple of “Karens” thought our son was adorable and made a dash to our jogger to touch our son. Because of my dapper look, I brought with me a walking gentleman’s cane that night stowed in the jogger’s undercarriage. Within swift motion, I pulled the cane from the undercarriage while walking, went into full circular motion in seconds to strike the intrusive individual, and shouted “KEEP YOUR DAMN HANDS OFF MY SON! I DON’T KNOW WHERE YOU’VE BEEN!” The crowd around us dispersed away from us when I did that, and I noticed that not only was her hand was about to cross over the lap bar of the Jogger to touch my son, but the hard tip of my cane was centimeters away from making contact with her hand. Had I not pulled my swing at the last minute, her girlfriend would be opening up wine bottles for her for six weeks. I was not stopped by a cast member and security for that and I was rushing to our car after potential assault which in reality I was exercising my right as a father to protect my family from strangers under self defense.

The point of my story is that you never take your eyes off your kid no matter how old they are and no matter where you go. What happened to me took three seconds for this individual to attempt to touch my son and who knows how many “belly washers” they drank during that festival at the happiest place on earth to invade our space. Three seconds or less is all it takes. Any real parent let alone a father knows three seconds or less is more than enough time for a cradle robber to snatch and / violate your child. And that was the last time anyone approached us at the park.

I have seen parents leve there child standing in the parking lot next to there car and run to get the tram and forgot there kid. How in the hell do you forget a child. I wish the cast member would have call security it would have served these people right. Just like when you see they baby in a chest holder on there parent when it 99 degrees outside. And the bay is all red in the face.

This is very common in some other countries, and considering that people travel all over the world for Disney. This could’ve been very normal from where they came from.

    1. Marvin

I don’t see what the big deal is. If someone snatches your kid, you snatch someone else’s. Might even get to trade up a few times. Great for people with those alien-looking babies.
