Disney fired him without cause based on unsupported allegations of a mentally unstable woman. Disney’s fear of anything controversial is disgusting, and causes them to act outside of their best interests. It’s true that the Pirates franchise has grown old and tired, but Pirates 6 has almost zero chance of success without Johnny Depp. He created a truly iconic character.
Given that Johnny Depp lost 2 roles because of her, I hope you are right. I hope Hollywood returns the favor & never hires her to act again. I hope Johnny Depp wins this case and that she is held accountable for lying under oath.
It is $7m in total that she needed to pay, $3.5m to each of the ACLU and a Children’s Hospital.
Johnny paid the first $100k to each of these directly as his first installment of his Divorce settlement but was sent a cease and desist by AH and her counsel, demanding the cash be sent to her instead of to cover her donation to the charities.
Since then she has paid at most $350k, with Elon Musk paying ‘in her honour’ an amount which the ACLU described as ‘attributable to her pledge’ but which AH boldly stated was not actually part of the payment due….
Either way she lied about having donated the entire amount, which had been paid in full for 13 months before she was sued for the first time.
It was also because Ms. Turd wanted to claim the donations on HER taxes. Notice how in the trial they throw that at Depp too. If it was about the donation, and helping others, who cares who claims what on their taxes? But of course, the tax breaks that come with large donations, is why she wanted to have control of it.
If she has admitted she did not donate it because of being sued, and clearly knows she wasn’t sued until long after receiving her advances, that in itself illustrates she knew she had not donated it. She knows the difference between pledge and donate because of that excuse she gave.
I’m concerned this alleged physical and sexual abuse was never documented medically or by police substantiation. If it’s not documented it didn’t happen. I’m surprised her legal team didn’t advise her of that. All we have is her word, which frankly is quite weak. She is not credible.
My take is it’s all about the money. Amber and her friends are freeloading and living the high life off Johnny’s money.
It a shame she is representing domestic violence in such a way as there are women who are seriously maimed both physically and mentally and have the physical evidence.to support such claims.
This is so unfair to Johnny Depp! Disney fires him before there is any proof of the allegations that Ms. heard said. She is known for being a Golddigger and using people to further her career. I hope that all of her lying under oath shows who she really is to the jury. I also hope she is charged with perjury on all counts.
