The ride used to be 3D. Those elements were the stereotypical 3D “whoa” moments. The ride was 2D-ized probably close to a decade ago when Universal got fed up with all the vomiting guests.
If you’re going to claim to be a news source, do your research.
Were you there for the grand opening of Forbidden Journey? I was. It has never been 3D. Just because it follows the design of ride in another Universal park, doesn’t mean they can’t change whatever aspect they see fit. Please

The ride came out when the Wizarding World opened in 2010. Not 2014. Research, folks.
