I had no idea Fear Factor was still relevant (broadcast ended in 2012, utilizing a live show at a theme park 9 years after that is stretching intellectual property usage – lol!); but I guess the “win a free prize” was kind of a lure for audience participation?
Team Universal Studios Orlando has plenty of intellectual property to work with from Illumination to DreamWorks, existing Universal Film Library including Steven Spielberg’s Amblin, Harry Potter to Fantastic Beasts, Transformers to The Simpsons, Marvel to Dr. Seuss … it’s just deciding what’s going to be put into that soon to be vacant space (live show? dark ride? simulator? restaurant? store?)
One thing I do lament is the Bill and Ted Live Show during Halloween Haunt (a shame that this was discontinued due to political correctness) 🤷🏼♂️
