The most important issues raised in striking down the CDC mask mandates were that the government has still not presented solid evidence that masks were significantly effective, even in open court. Moreover the judge determined that not only did the CDC not have the authority to extend mask mandates but that they NEVER had that authority to impose mask mandates during the last 2 years, or ever.

Since masks were never more than an imperfect, never proven method for stopping the spread of COVID people who are genuinely, noteworthy vulnerable should assess their own risks and perhaps stay isolated. Everyone else should assess their own risk and live their lives as they choose.

Me, I’m going to WDW just as I have several times each year for the last several years.

We have waited for two years to book a vacation to Disney.

Once forced masking is fully gone (which they now will be), we’re going.

See you at the end of May WDW.
