I’ve only been there once when I was young and my aunt lives nearby by 10-20 minutes

I grew up going to Thunder Island. I grew up in Fulton. Each summer, my family would spend a day during my dad’s vacation. That’s when it was just the arcade (where we played air hockey), the go-kart track, bumper boats and mini-golf. There was a giraffe on a big hill of the mini golf that you had to shoot the ball through the legs of the giraffe and it went all the way down the hill to the hole. I loved it there.

  3. My family was pushed out of Long Island when NY increased the property taxes so much that people who had worked all their lives (had paid for homes) had to leave. Whoever buys this will be afraid to expand and further develop.

I have been there many times. My family and I were planning another trip when they opened back up but then the pandemic stopped that. When they opened up after, tragically Ron passed away and that stopped us. My condolences sent to the family and I hope in the future we will see Thunder Island again.
