Yes, I am quite excited to see Harrison Ford in his first major TV role. Let’s face it, he really hasn’t had much of an acting challenge placed before him in several years. Indiana Jones and Han Solo are roles he knows like the back of his hand and could probably achieve them just using muscle memory. To see him playing an old psychiatrist (or psychologist) with Parkinson’s Disease might just be ANOTHER role of a lifetime for him.
Oh by the way, from your article, I think that “ultimately killed by HE and Princess Leia’s son, Kylo Ren/Ben Solo” is grammatically proper in this instance. No offense and “thank you”.

Yeah… that line really jumped out at me. One of those sentences that *might* be technically correct but sounded so wrong. It really hurt to read it. Otherwise, well done!

      1. Dee

That sentence is not “technically”correct, nor is Bob’s correction.

This isn’t his first ever tv series. Ford reprised his role as Indiana Jones portraying an older version of the character in the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, which aired on network television.

I had to click on the Hollywood Reporter link to find out the name of the show is “Shrinking”

      2. Jonathan

This is his first recurring role, as opposed to a cameo or guest star.

It’s “HIS and Princess Leia’s” or “Princess Leia’s and HIS” son. The way you check is to take out “Princess Leia’s.”

To demonstrate, “HIM son” and “HE son” are both clearly wrong. Whereas, “HIS son” is grammatically correct.

No, “he” is not grammatically correct in that context. It’s “his”, indicating the possessive. And easy way to check that is to remove “and Princess Leia’s” from the sentence. You would never say “he son”, you would say “his son”. That doesn’t change just because their is a conjunction.

      1. Jonathan

And autocorrect changed “there” to “their”, disrupting my whole grammar credibly thing. Dang it.

        1. Jonathan

Then it changed “credibility” to “credibly”. Sigh.

Most definitely! I absolutely love watching this man. He is very versatile and I am happy that he has not yet retired.

  3. Grae

So what rhe heck is the name of the show?. I would think that is a kind of important fact to include.

  4. Mitch Mayer

He should retire with whatever dignity he has left. After Barnaby Jones & The Kingdom of Alzheimer’s drops next year, Harrison has no more film options unless Ron Howard casts him in the Will Geer role for The Waltons : THX 70 mm CGI Endgame .

You sound like a bitter old virgin.

  5. Landon

He had minor roles on several tv series in the late 60s early 70s including Gunsmoke and Kung Fu.

I think we would be interested in seeing this. We’re big Star Wars & Indiana Jones fans. My husband has Parkinson’s and we haven’t seen it featured in any mainstream entertainment.
