Reason why is because after Marc and Steven ended their contract with Khonshu and he flew off, Khonshu reveals later in a Rolls Roce stretch car that he did indeed end his contract with the pair HOWEVER, he did not end it with Jake and so, his goal was to use Jake as his long term avatar instead of the two personalites. He also reveals he never planned to use Marc’s wife as his avatar but was holding on to Marc because he wanted Jake to himself. In the scene where they were with Dr Harlow, that was indeed Jake with a mafioso/Robert De Niro accent despite what the director said which i believe he said to arouse curiosity flr those who are so oblivious. This article is the worst.
