I’m not saying I doubt that a large snake would be spotted on property. What I am saying is that if a cast member watched a 10 foot snake slither its way about, in close proximity to infants in strollers, and seemingly did nothing about it except “watch”… I’d be wanting them fired. Is there not a security protocol for these types of things? Even if it was years ago, what would’ve been a more proper procedure without causing panic for the guests?
I very much doubt it was actually 10 ft. People notoriously overestimate the size of both snakes and gators. 😂 Both of which are just a fact of life here. 🤷
I saw a large mouse at Disney. It looked almost human. I think it was dancing and waving at humans. It’s probably been before Covid, so it was years ago. But if I remember right, that mouse was in a parade and he seemed happy. Of course, I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to frighten anyone. Eventually, it passed quickly and I continued to eat my pretzel that also surprisingly looked like a mouse.
LOL, I’m glad you could eat your pretzel after such a shocking experience, they had another large mouse about the same time but I think they’re sterile…
I very highly doubt it was a ten foot snake. That is a very large snake and would have been noticed in a crowd. Additionally, those can be dangerous for children and would have been removed. I would assume the former cast member saw a snake and exaggerated the experience.
I was waiting for the Magic Kingdom train at Frontierland Station in 1997. It was shady, cool & lower than the track, so kind of ‘snaky’ looking. A 4 foot black snake slithered past me, then through the crowd. I tried to alert people, but no one paid attention. He went so fast, I couldn’t see him but a couple seconds. I love Disney & went back 4 times that year. This is one of the highlights that come to mind when I think of our first trip.
Snakes are all
Over Florida. Just like gators. If the cast members told people and if there was a lot of people there was a snake people would start to scream and run and that would be a lot worst then not saying anything
Yeah! I would discreetly tell a cast member and let them handle it in a safe way, if I saw anyone in immediate danger, I would find a way to avoid a big panic… Gotta be careful with crowds…
Staying at OKW years ago, I watched the biggest snake probably 10 foot long and 3 or 4 inches in diameter slither out of the landscaping and go up and into a palm tree. I was stunned. I don’t believe anything would be done about it, it’s nature so I didn’t day anything, but I was Stunned at the size.
LOL, you dimwhitts are truly a new breed aren’t you?? Disney never had your business. You crawl into every Disney article to try and spread your misery and the thing is, YOURE STILL MISERABLE.
My worst fears is snakes & crocs as in crocodiles, properly not the best place to visit florida as there the most common, I’m petrified of them, but always been told of you see snakes leave them be, there just crossing to where they are going, the only hurt you if they feel threatened by you, if it’s a Croc run like hell 🙈🙈🙈 but it wasn’t just snakes & cric, there is millions of small lizards around the parks at Disney,, disney was built on swamp land so what you expect going to Disney
In todays world you couldn’t pay me enough to take my family to that “woke” infested dump. Poor Walt is rolling over in his grave wondering how in the hell his dream for families has turned into a liberal junkyard.
Good stay home and continue to be a keyboard crusader, the world seems like it would be a much better place if we were all as intolerant and entitled as you. Spread the gospel brother

That’s it exactly. The people who are boycotting Disney are the same people who boycotted NBA, NFL, NASCAR, Yeti, Bridgestone.
Attendance, viewership, and business for all those things never changed because of the boycotts because the people boycotting them never did business with them anyway. It’s ridiculous.
I highly doubt that I ten foot snake would go through the lines and no one took a picture of it, not even the person who posted about it? Pix or it didn’t happen. LOL
I’ve seen a a very long snake slither across the concrete path from SSR to Disney Springs, a small alligator inside Magic Kingdom sunning itself on the shore of Rivers of America right next to bridge below Splash Mountain, and a rat run right of me on the left side of the entrance path to Animal Kingdom. Did report the alligator to cast members, who referred to said alligator as “Ernestine” and knew she liked to hang out on the shoreline. I found out after the fact that Florida law doesn’t permit those small alligators to be relocated until they reach a certain length. Also, many years ago there was a young boy bitten by a snake on the grounds of Caribbean Beach Resort. From what I remember he was playing with a toy on the concrete walkway as his family was walking and the toy rolled into the grass/shrubbery close to the path. When he reached near a shrub to get his toy, a poisonous snake bit his hand and arm. Poor child ended up in Celebration hospital for a week or more being treated with anti venom. I’ve always warned my kids and grandkids to never reach for anything off the pathways when we’re at Disney since I heard that story.
I find a truly amazing how some of the scariest freakiest moments in life can just happen out of nowhere if I came across a snake I don’t care 10 inches long I would flip out however instead of getting carried on about a situation that you can control you can’t control nature and there’s a lot of negatives how about if I share a positive story my son-in-law Adam who I love more than anything in the world because he’s a great dad and he loves my daughter was given 16 weeks of life to live from a polycystic kidney disease my granddaughters made a T-shirt for their dad because he was in dire need of a kidney transplant so I Disney employee I’ll leave his name on mentioned but he was 22 years old didn’t know my son-in-law from Adam that’s funny because he donated a kidney to my son-in-law Adam there’s good and bad no matter where we go and live things happen I refuse to believe that Disney or anywhere we choose to go deliberately sad sound to ruin our vacation But I also do you know that God puts angels everywhere my son-in-law‘s angel just so happened to be a Disney world channel 19 news Cincinnati Ohio did a news cast about this situation this one you can take to the bank so for that it shows me that Disney in Orlando Florida does a great job on hiring their staff because if it was not for that young man my granddaughters would not have their dad🥰
They almost certainly will. Lower income conservatives are the biggest risk group for self harm by firearms.
They can’t cope with anything and it gets to them. After the full weight of their failure hits them they do bad things to themselves and their families.
LOL, you dimwhitts are truly a new breed aren’t you? NEWSFLASH, nobody GIVES A SH-T that you’re so “pissy” at Disney… NOBODY. You crawl into every Disney article to try and spread your misery and the thing is, YOURE STILL MISERABLE.
After a long day at one of Disney World’s park in 2021, we headed back to our vehicle. We spotted an alligator under our car. Soon after, a baby gator appeared under another vehicle. Crazy, my 3 kids were 2 feet away from these creatures. We notified the park attendants and was told that there all over the lot.
I used to be a lifeguard at Blizzard Beach and there were snakes all the time and they would just get in the lazy river and then keep chillin. We would just call base and have someone come find it because we couldn’t stop watching our water, but it happens all the time. It’s their home 😂

We were at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon one of them. Just floating around in the Lazy part where the trees hang over the water and right in front of us was a snake just taking a swim. Not one panicked a cast member jumped and and took the snake out. It’s Florida there are snakes and big bugs and gators. It’s nature.

That’s probably why the cast member no longer works there!

It’s a snake. Why say anything? People who are scared of snakes are panicky and unreasonable. It’s best for everyone if their fears aren’t stimulated.

At All star movies in October 2021 I saw a 4-5 foot black snake slither out of the landscaping, across the walkway and back into the bushes!
Fish
Walking from the parking lot and then down the sidewalk I noticed some leaves moving on the ground behold it was a snake I left it alone
