Perhaps Disney and Marvel should focus on good stories and characters that will make the customers (that pay the bills) happy.

Currently it’s almost like Disney is ignoring business so badly that even solid bank-able products like movies with Thor and TV shows with Hawkeye are being creatively strangled and starved. Why?

Bruh, have you seen how much money MCU films are pulling in? This awful website likes to amplify the one or two voices on twitter that have a problem with something.

They really aren’t though. No way home made more money than every other marvel release last year combined, and that’s not even really a marvel movie. Disney it’s quite nearly running a Ponzi scheme with it’s investors, always promising a better turnout for the next big thing, making an overinflated stock that’s finally crashed down 30%. That’s an insanely massive drop.

It makes sense if you read the comics…

That’s what I was going to say!! And Disney has the what if…? Part
      Of the series …facepalm

I don’t want Jane / Female Thor, Chris Hemsworth is the only Thor for me.

Why do you print the Tweet, then immediately show the Tweet?

With embedding content, that’s kinda standard practice. So if something goes wrong with the picture loading, you still have the quote written out in the article.

I agree hemsworth is the best thor and if change I will not watch thor anymore

Say it again with me folks: “TWEETS FROM RANDOM PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET ARE NOT NEWS!”

Especially when they don’t understand why Jane is still called “Thor” and that the movie synopsis is NOT talking about Chris Hemsworth retiring but Thor retiring from being a hero.

    Jesus…

    1. Jay

And why is she still called Thor? Because some comic book writers said so? Jesus… comic book writers are graphic artists not master story tellers. Or are you still too much of a 3rd grader to know that?

      1. Me

Wtf. Writers are graphic artists??? Bahahahahahhaha

        Àaaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

      2. Kitty

Because whoever weilds the hammer also gets the name “Thor.” Jane literally becomes Thor.

Yeah, remember when everyone called Cap Thor after Endgame?

No, because that’s jawdroppingly stupid. Thor is a name, not a title. God(dess) of Thunder is the title. That said, she’s obviously not replacing anyone. She’s a one-off, and she’s going to die at the end just like she did in the comic. The reason she’s in it is because the Gorr story in the comic ended with a showdown of Thors from 3 timelines fighting Gorr at once. They’re smart enough not to want to muddle the water with more time travel crap, so they need another way for more Thor. Enter Jane Foster. And it seems Valkyrie will be taking the place of King Thor, because there’s no good reason they’re calling her King Valkyrie instead of Queen otherwise. But I digress. Either Gorr kills her, or the cancer does (and they already confirmed this version also has cancer). She’s not replacing anyone.

Disney is going down the path of kid diddling woke nonsense.

    1. Kitty

It’s not woke. Jane Foster ends up being Thor. There’s nothing woke about it.

Oy, I’ve read through some of these threads on specific Tweets and subreddits. Here’s the only thing worth discussing re: the MsheU: if you’re deliberately being antagonistic and creating a derisive hashtag, then at least have the decency not to iterate the stupid “herp derp you shouldn’t take offense” argument. It’s pretty clear the twitter instigators and YouTubers championing this mahoney are the ones who’ve taken offense to trends that really shouldn’t be a new shock anymore.

Yet again, another terribly written and inaccurate article. Find a new job Alex

I wonder if there’s bad blood between Helmsworth and Portman. Strange they can’t seem to be on screen together. Very curious. Anyway, this would be a great time to officially bring Beta Ray Bill into the MCU, if Helmsworth really is done with playing Thor.
