Reading this article was like reading someone’s life story in a blog for a chocolate chip recipe. All that fluff for a few sentences about an editing scene? You’ve never been on a film set before. They use the same background actors multiple times. Its the same scene from different angles. Doesn’t suddenly Marvel is incapable of working as a franchise anymore.
What happens in the trailers don’t always happen in the movie or they just don’t show the entire scene. This is more press to divert our attention from the big picture.
People seem to have forgotten that this happens when movies film with actual extras on set (not to mention, the extras are not and should not be the thing the audience is focusing on in the scene)
Maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like the reason people noticed this at all was because this exact 40 second clips was posted and was then endlessly replayed as people picked it apart for clues, or for ways to “dunk on” the filmmakers.
People dont seem to realize this is an Easter Egg. That guy’s super hero name is Same Guy and he’s a little known character from the 70s run of the Doctor Strange comic. The cool thing about him is I made this all up and you lost the game.

Yes, and perhaps happening in different timelines simultaneously…it is about the multiverse after all…
