Hawkeye Himself is a real-feeling, down to earth family man with a disability and a special needs child. He contributes to the betterment of all people at significant sacrifice to himself even though he doesn’t have special powers. That’s a true hero even if not a ‘super’ hero.
Now Disney is stopping that relatable character story and cutting that critical link, why? It works and it is very entertaining and thankfully doesn’t need ‘magic’ or mystical drugs/substances or pseudo-religion McGuffins to function.
Granted the trainee/sidekick character is indeed somewhat difficult to identify with. She’s a rich white girl who is seldom held accountable when she screws up. Even so, in general Hawkeye is a fun story which did expand and enhance the MCU much less darkly than Falcon & Winter Soldier.

Shows are for entertainment essentially. I was entertained to the max by Hawkeye. It should be understood that it was for a limited series only and that was done. So what’s the fuss? Marvel has a lot that it puts into its plate after the world tasted the loosening of the Covid grip over everyone. It may choke if it does what all fans want all at once. There is no point in bashing anyone much less the actors. A story or show depends on the quality of writing that renders the story. The actors are good on Hawkeye. That is my opinion and I will still see more of Steinfeld and Renner as they made me enjoy their respective role portrayals.

I loved the Hawkeye series! It was my second favourite MCU show behind Wandavision. TFAWS show was horrible to say the least. There was no chemistry between Mackey and Stan, it looked forced at all times! Very disappointed that Hawkeye doesn’t get a 2nd season but that trash (TFAWS) does!!
If it is true that there won’t be a second season of Hawkeye, my Wife & I will be heartbroken as we enjoyed that show immensely. We have watched it several times & will continue to do so. As far as the acting, I wasn’t crazy about them having Kate Bishop show up in the series, I was hoping for an all Clint Hawkeye show, but I think it was great overall. Plus I don’t think Jeremy Renner “didn’t want to be there”, it’s just how his character is portrayed. He didn’t want to be at that musical that he lived in real life & saw the tragedy first hand, he just wants a normal Christmas with his wife & kids, & he is clearly still so devastated by Natalie’s death in Endgame. Plus I loved how they brought in the Russian track suit gang from Matt Fraction’s comic book run. I hope they change their minds & give it another chance. It’s our favorite Disney Marvel series so far. I wish I knew how to start a large online petition to bring the show back or even a go fund me if that’s what it took. Although I can’t imagine Disney needs a go fund me for anything.

I liked the series, it seemed like it was developing a good teacher/student relationship between Barton and Bishop. I was hoping to see that dynamic further explored in a second season preparing her to take over in the MCU.
My husband & I enjoyed watching the Hawkeye series & even tho the underlying story line was pretty wrapped up by the end, there were plenty of unfinished story lines that easily could’ve been made into 1-2 more seasons. Possible Jeremy Renner is involved w/other projects & isn’t available to make another season?

Except for the stage drama play, I thought the was pretty good. Although Hawkeye is retired, he could always be dragged back in due to some unforeseen reason. I think the show deserves a 2nd season.

All you do is gaslight people hawkeye was a limited series like, Wandavison and tfatws .what pisses me off about people like you, you still don’t what the mcu actually is .the title of the movie or the show doesn’t matter , it’s the story that that matter. If after 12 years you don’t understand that mcu project are chapters I’m a book telling an entire story. Then you’ll never get it. The only reason why Loki is getting a season 2 is because The TVA is slightly more complicated will directly link up with the Kang thread. Great comment! All these people acting like not getting a second season means the show flopped. Hawkeye did great in terms of viewers. It was an ok show for me, but really, people jump to conclusions just because of the Emmy category.

Hawkeye did gave a good season. The ending left a great spot to continue from. There are other shows that should loose there spot long before Hawkeye.
Views will be disappointed .
To bad more effort isn’t put in on keeping good stoys alive. The wrong PERSON is make a bad call.

The House of ideas should of done a Blackwidow/Hawkeye(movie or, + series) first then the Hawkeye series to introduce a New Hawkeye. I like the sreies and hope down the road do a Young Avengers or a New SHIELD w/Hawkeye and others.

Aww I also would have loved to seen a Black Widow/Hawkeye movie with Scarlett and Jeremy! Too bad Marvel never did that. Both characters deserved better. At least Jeremy and Scarlett have great projects outside of MCU.

With Disney executive decisions to do these Marvel series and end the season leaving your subscribers wanting more was definitely a great idea. Increasing the prices went almost unnoticed. Then to slice your own throat by gettung political and killing any continuations, one and done, is only part of the reason I will not renew my subscription for the next year. Thanks Disney for giving generation’s an escape from reality to only push your own agenda. It is supposed to be entertainment not a political platform.

Shows are for entertainment essentially. I was entertained to the max by Hawkeye. It should be understood that it was for a limited series only and that was done. So what’s the fuss? Marvel has a lot that it puts into its plate after the world tasted the loosening of the Covid grip over everyone. It may choke if it does what all fans want all at once. There is no point in bashing anyone much less the actors. A story or show depends on the quality of writing that renders the story. The actors are good on Hawkeye. That is my opinion and I will still see more of Steinfeld and Renner as they made me enjoy their respective role portrayals.
Hailee Steinfeld is a good actress. Viewers who don’t like her are entitled to their opinions BUT such opinions do not affect our preference for a Hailee Steinfeld on screen. She has the staying power that other actors do not have. She can produce, make music that we fans do love. Trolls may also exist in the entertainment industry not only in the political arena. Bashing the acting ability of Hailee Steinfeld channels a work by trolls, but that is ok, in our so called world of the free. For regardless of opinions bad or favorable, I am still going to buy movie tickets or pay subscription to streaming platforms or buy music of Hailee Steinfeld. It is my money in my pocket anyway, not anyone else..😂

I loved the Hawkeye series! It was my second favourite MCU show behind Wandavision. TFAWS show was horrible to say the least. There was no chemistry between Mackey and Stan, it looked forced at all times! Very disappointed that Hawkeye doesn’t get a 2nd season but that trash (TFAWS) does!!

If it is true that there won’t be a second season of Hawkeye, my Wife & I will be heartbroken as we enjoyed that show immensely. We have watched it several times & will continue to do so. As far as the acting, I wasn’t crazy about them having Kate Bishop show up in the series, I was hoping for an all Clint Hawkeye show, but I think it was great overall. Plus I don’t think Jeremy Renner “didn’t want to be there”, it’s just how his character is portrayed. He didn’t want to be at that musical that he lived in real life & saw the tragedy first hand, he just wants a normal Christmas with his wife & kids, & he is clearly still so devastated by Natalie’s death in Endgame. Plus I loved how they brought in the Russian track suit gang from Matt Fraction’s comic book run. I hope they change their minds & give it another chance. It’s our favorite Disney Marvel series so far. I wish I knew how to start a large online petition to bring the show back or even a go fund me if that’s what it took. Although I can’t imagine Disney needs a go fund me for anything.

Hawkeye will always be the best. He is a normal human, with a wife and kids, and no super powers. Hawkeye is the person we can all relate to. I hope he comes back soon.

I liked the series, it seemed like it was developing a good teacher/student relationship between Barton and Bishop. I was hoping to see that dynamic further explored in a second season preparing her to take over in the MCU.

My husband & I enjoyed watching the Hawkeye series & even tho the underlying story line was pretty wrapped up by the end, there were plenty of unfinished story lines that easily could’ve been made into 1-2 more seasons. Possible Jeremy Renner is involved w/other projects & isn’t available to make another season?

I loved the show for it’s setting in Christmas most of all, but I really did love Jeremy Renner and Hailey Steinfeld in the show and thought they did very well to the point I was really hoping for a season 2 if they could pull it off
