I just visited Disney World 3 weeks ago and I was appalled at how it is own people eating in line dripping popsicle drops to step on kids being allowed to run wherever they want where they’re not supposed to and nobody does a thing. It’s like they’re too scared t offend someone.
Once many, many years ago while family was on this “ride” it malfunctioned and was stuck and just kept repeating over and over.
Eventually the whole audience learned the script and instead of leaving we all recited the lines with the taped script! We made it fun.
The question is was security outside waiting the throw out everyone who violated the rules? I certainly hope that these pieces of “karen” / “woke” garbage were removed from the park and banned for life!
The thing is at the beginning of the ride they tell all that the ride is a 20min show and if they can’t then they can exit at that moment. I remember when i was on it in march it did stop for about 10min which is the first time I’ve been on that ride and it’s had a “malfunction” so after reading this I wonder if it was something else
Why is it so hard for people to follow the rules? People need to stop thinking that they are so entitled and that they are the only people on the face of the Earth.
Absolutely agree! All some people are concerned with is what they want, when they want it, and to blazes with anyone else. Yep, if people can’t follow orders, especially after being reminded “one time” then they need to exit the park, because chances are they’re doing the same thing on other rides. So sad.
Thank you 45 for teaching us that rules and norms are there to be broken. Respect, decency, and manners are optional. It used happen pre-45 but it was occasional. Now it’s the norm. The inner demons have been unleashed. It’s not unique to the parks it’s everywhere including flights in air,
I’m not a political person but, oh my God. Get your TDS checked out, dude. Not all the world’s ills are Trump’s fault nor did they start with him being elected President 5 and a half years ago. People have been acting like entitled idiots for DECADES. Did you happen to live through the 80s? Remember the saying “Greed is good” from back then?
Please stop with the manufactured political BS.
Nice try but you’re wrong. And, for all the allegations and promises, it’s quite obvious that 46 hasn’t fixed a thing.
Besides, this vid was from an incident that happened 10 years ago, similar things happened before it and after it.
This happened to us the week of March 28th. A woman left with a crying baby. They had to restart the show. A man later got up and with the same scene, they restarted the show. The 3rd time a man with a boy got up and went to exit the door and the audience yelled at him to sit down. The problem was the cast member mumbled the warning nd one could not understand him. This added to the situation. However, our family loves this rode.
With all the negative things I have read about WDW I wonder if I want to go back. I have been there 20+ times now I wonder if I will go back. makes me sad and a little angry.
Yes following rules was always a problem in society but 45 did exasperate it and is now why it is worse today. 45 affected the world for the worst in 4 years, and just to find something to blame 46 on, the only thing you can only say is that he hasn’t fixed it in a year??
Disney needs to put together more types of friendly visible security measures to address issues like this to escort these people out and ban them. If they don’t and it gets out of control with an worse incident, it will cost Disney a lot of money in reduced attendance and if that happens it will be hard for Disney to get people back in the parks.
Boy! This was annoying. The announcer too, repeating himself over & over again. Give them time to sit down. He liked the sound of his own voice. No wonder everyone just left. Lol! 😂
Can’t blame the cast members… People are stupid..a person die on this ride, a cast members got crushed by the wall and the outer section when the ride moved..what would have happen if it started moving and the people who thought they were above the rules got hurt.. just like the people who think they can use a cell phone an drive or their life is more important than any body or rules.. just stop with the stupidity. Follow the rules..
I was wondering when someone was going to mention the person who died on this. Clearly safety NEEDS to be followed. I dont blame the Cast Members in the sligests. They are doing their job, which is to keep everyone as safe as they possibly can
Where to start… Their is so much wrong with this. Let me start by assessing the entitlement and disregard for others. I find it so upsetting to see a group of people ruin this ride for the other people who genuinely wanted to enjoy this attraction. As well as the blatant disregard or respect for these Cast Membors who are only trying to do their job, as well as keep these people safe. Now let’s talk about the absolute disrespect for not only those previously mentioned, but for the disrespect of Disney itself and More Importantly for Walt Disney himself, who personally created this ride. The people on it should be Extreamly Greatful for the simple fact that they are fortunate enough to be at Disney in the first place. And above that they should be honored to be in a Attraction made by Walt Disney. Without him, the Park they are talking for granted would not stand. I could ramble ok more but my point is people need to be more Respectful, Patient, Considerate, and all around More Greatful. Thata one on the points of this Atrraction to be Greatful for the things we have now, people in the past didnt have it as easy. I’m 30 and I have a 10 year Old son and Neither of us would have ever acted like that I’ve been and thought better. I pray the world wakes up. Because it seems to be getting worse and that scares me for our Children and future Grandchildren.

Have you seen the world we live in today? Of course they were too scared to offend anyone, lest they be cancelled, shamed, or sued!

One of my favorite rides.
It’s sad when people are showing such disrespect to those around them.
Manners are no longer being used. Very sad.

Breaking the rules is neither ‘Karen’ nor ‘woke’ – it’s just bad manners!
Kevin
Exactly CJA! Dave, you are a “moron”.

Wow, that was horrible all around. How do we know this was 10 years ago though??
