…WHAT is flippin’ WITH you, man??

Do you even know what site you’re on?
Do you see anyone else here talking about Ghostbusters every day?
It’s not even at Universal anymore!!

Have you ever been on a theme-park roller-coaster in your life??

Wow haha looks like someone has been sniffing the mood slime! What does anything the author is saying have to do with a theme park you lunatic?

    Nothing–That’s the POINT:
He’s on one of the best theme-park info sites on the net–which also occasionally diverges into similar interests like Disney+, MCU, print-Marvel, Star Wars and assorted theatrical movies–and he somehow can never talk about anything ELSE but What Ghostbusters Scenes Were the Coolest.

Look, Dan: Why don’t we both go stand in line for Rise of the Resistance, and while we’re waiting, then you can tell me everything you know about the making of Ghostbusters: Afterlife?…

What the hell are you even talking about?
This article has nothing to do with the “coolest scenes”. He also talks about star wars and lots of other movie franchises if you bothered to look. If you’re going to try and make a point about somethings, make sure you know what you’re talking about first. You sound ridiculous

As a matter of fact, I did bother to look:

A quick check of the last six Daniel Roberts columns, not counting this one–
        – Every Popular CG-Animated Disney Movie Ranked From Worst to Best
        – Every ‘X-Men’ Movie Ranked From Worst to Best
        – ‘The Santa Clause’ TV Series Casts Tim Allen’s Real-Life Daughter
        – Every Solo MCU Movie Ranked From Worst to Best
        IN MARVEL
        – Could an Open-World ‘Ghostbusters’ Game Be on the Horizon?!
        – Every ‘Superman’ Movie Ranked From Worst to Best

…Okay, so there are the occasional flashes of MCU, but otherwise, it’s like he exists in his own private BUBBLE, like the last site did.

The biggest issue for me for “answer the call” wasn’t a female cast, yest the plot was all over the place, but the one thing Ivan and Jason did with afterlife that did it for me was close a chapter to setup a new one, a passing of a torch to a newer generation in the same continuity, with direct links to the original cast, it was a certain type of closure needed for many fans, especially those who grew up with the GB and GB2, and in my personal opinion Afterlife was the perfect embodiment of what a lot of fans were needing, had they went a similar approach with the women cast, it may have been received better, but they tried too hard and made the comedy kind of forced. That being said, the biggest letdown for me was starting a different universe while the first one required some closure, and the tribute to Harold Ramis was the best part of the movie, it paid homage to his character, that no other person could have wrote or envisioned better. I wouldn’t say answer the call was a complete failure, but like I said above closure is what was needed, because movies are relationships, and most of us weren’t ready to move out of the previous one yet.

  4. Liked afterlife….
