I’m always surprised you don’t see more alligators in the ponds. They inhabit practically every body of water in Florida but the only time I’ve heard about one at Disney world was when some kid got eaten at one of the resorts (the pond was clearly labeled as having alligators but I guess the parents were illiterate). At any rate you should just assume that unless you can see into the body of water and tell there isn’t an alligator in it (like a swimming pool), you should assume there is an alligator in it.

I did see an alligator while on the train. It was sunning itself on the bank of the pond.
