Close for good. It isn’t like you provide anything of more value than our children.

No need to be a hateful person spreading misery and negativity everywhere. You seem like someone that is so pleasant to be around

I wish Disney would close in Florida, sell the land, and move to a state that appreciates their revenue and jobs, instead of a Govenor who is playing vindictive political games. Disney is an American company, made up by American citizens. They have the right to exercise their 1st Amendment rights to free speech without retaliation. God bless america. Patriots unite.

Disney is an entertainment company and should stick to entertainment. Not trying to get political. They wanted to play political games, and now they are getting political repercussions. Too bad. And they’re not moving anywhere. Where do you think they would move to and be as successful? Not picking a fight- honestly interested in where you think they would do better and have the infrastructure they have now? And the weather.

      1. Dev

        Disney has always been political….

    2. Paul

I wish they could tell DeSantis to shove it!

And you people need to realize the governor is only trying to protect the kids maybe you shouldn’t give into the narrative on both sides and just read it for yourself. You will realize its only for kids to young to be learning about sex. Let kids be kids and stay innocent for as long as possible

        1. Daisy

Governor is playing revenge politics against free speech for his own sake. Ignorance of life is not saving anyone.

      2. Chris

Are you even from Florida? Probably not. I am. I voted for DeSantis and would again. Insert your personal attacks and names here.

      3. disney no more

You shove it Desantis is the best.. has a set of balls..unlike you.

Any state will be waiting with high taxes

    4. Grandma

It’s “American Citizen’s that work there but the CEO ‘s etc that make the rules & regulations need to think of those citizens instead of there pockets❗️

    5. Kc

So If it’s an American company made up by American citizens why did they get rid of their American citizens and hire people that weren’t American citizens while the American citizens Trained the non-American citizens for their replacements

Desantis is going to put the tax burden on Florida residents , just wait and see.

If it gets worse watch Disney make large business moves from Florida and don’t think that Disney isn’t going to use it’s legal power to bankrupt the state with legal proceedings . Disney is massive and Desantis is only a governor ….this will end bad for everyone .

Florida state attorney’s quit to work for Disney …Desantis had started a fight he cannot win.

    1. Chris

If you think Florida would be bankrupt because Of Disney, you truly have no idea what you’re talking about. I assure you, we would be fine if Disney disappeared tomorrow.

      1. CC

Great. Close WDW, fire 70,000 people. Pull everything out of the Desantis empire. THEN, Let’s just find out how many international tourists want to spend 4 days and their money at Gatorland.

        1. Chris

You’re such an educated person. I guess you weren’t aware that there is a plethora of beaches, theme parks, attractions, and cities in Florida. We don’t survive from WDW. They are just one part of a strong diverse economy made up of strong resilient people. It’s all moot anyway since WDW isn’t going anywhere. I find it so amusing to hear people that would normally be screaming for “big corporations” to be taxed into the stratosphere, to be soooooo concerned about Disney having to pay taxes now. And cut us a break from your phony sentiments about 70,000 people being fired. You’re about ideology. You don’t give a flip about us Floridians. You’re comment about our governor proved exactly who and what you are.

As an avid Frozen fan, I would love to see Blizzard Beach re themed to Frozen. I want to see the Ice Palace a top of North Mountain and have Olaf and Sven causing mischief. The entrance can be refurbished as Arendales’ castle and the ski lodges as the town. Who’s with me?

  8. Your mom

Are you threatening native Floridians and Florida with less tourists? Hahaha, how would we ever survive. As for losing jobs, does that mean that all tge tourists that live here would be then moving as well. Oh the horror of a less crowded Florida

    1. Chris

Right on! The horrors of not having to deal with people that don’t respect our home where we live and work all year- not just a week or two.
