Would love to take my grandbabies but living on $1200. a month disability . I can hardly pay for month to month. Why can’t Disney help out grandparents to enjoy their last years on earth doing fun thing with their families. Just some food for thought.
Prices for multi-day tickets have GONE UP at Walt Disney World. We used a 4-day trip as the basis for our comparisons. Park Hopper Plus 4-day tickets used to range from $546.65 — $708.57 and are now $559.53 — $708.57. It appears that on average, multi-day tickets increased and GONE UP by around $20 or so. On top of that, hotel room rates continue to increase (GONE UP), and although currently suspended, Annual Passes in Disney World have GONE UP in cost, as well as the new Magic Key Pass in Disneyland. We have also seen food pricing go up (GONE UP) while portions go down, as well as the rise of liquor (GONE UP). To add, the addition of Disney Genie+ is now a new financial opportunity for Disney, whereas before, FastPasses were free (GONE UP) not to mention all the other what was inclusive now an additional charge.
There isnt ANY savings at all…and this park capacity calendar is a farce as well…right Disney could care less about the park visitor and more about “cost cutting” ways because Disney knows people are “suckers” anyway and will pay the price for just about anything Disney!
Hotel discounts are great! But being a DVC member I would prefer more of a discount on Annual Passes, especially the one that has no blackout dates. But, oh wait, all Disney does is take more money from the DVC members, which are the very people who were able to come back to the park when it re-opened in 2020, and support them. The CEO could care less about us, all he cares about his lining his pockets!!!!!
Was there in february, portions were ridiculously small for the $15 palm size chicken patty and handfull of fries and still had to pay another 4 for a 10 oz cup of soda…paid $8 for 2- mm cookies…$8!! So heres a solution do not purchase food, snacks, drinks either– bring your own in the park or bottled water and keep filling it up OR as we did, leave about 130pm, go back to the room, order groceries ahead of time and dont waste money at restaurants!! It is completely ridiculous the prices and how small the portions are….its simply not worth it! Dont waste your money on genie+ either– plan to go early or plan to wait, its your choice.
I love Disney but prices are out of control. All Disney has done is raise prices and cut services (I.e. Magical Express, dining plans, fast pass). They already admitted to quarterly profits. Bring pass dining plans, at least. Discounts at the hottest time of year doesn’t help.
This is all bs. There is no savings. It’s just paying more for less. Walt is spinning in his grave. They have taken what he built and monetized it and turned it into a playground for the wealthy. If you don’t make high 6 figures, you aren’t welcome. It’s disgusting.
It’s not “in response”, it’s the exact same 30%-after-summer promo they offer EVERY year, only minus the usual option of “Full hotel price with free Dining Plan”.
Which, hopefully, they’ll bring back any time now.

Anybody else notice that the first three or four paragraphs are exactly the same on just about every other article on this site?

They need to drop the pay to park when staying on property. Never before have I had to pay to park my car when staying over night some place

I agree disabled fixed income would be an amazing experience to have with my grand daughter

I have never bought a ticket to Disney world and never will that place is way to overpriced for what you are getting.
Plus the big wigs are insane elites that look at all of us like peasants to scam money out of.
They hire to many pedos and terrible cast members and those that don’t suck get treated like hot garbage.
