And Tink likes her figure, so they go after her for that? Attempting to have Wendy murdered and leading the pirates to Peter’s hideout is okay by them. She confident, self reliant, and they get body conscious from that?
Captain Hook lost his hand to a Crocodile and still continued being a pirate, and Viewing Ursula through a “racial lens”? Wtf?! She’s a fictitious character with fictitious colors, no one has 8 BLACK legs! And she’s Lavender! They’re mad because she was inspired by Devine! If anything we need MORE villains in the classic style, we need genuine antagonists in Disney movies, that’s the one thing that movies like ‘Encanto’ have been missing, we all knew Bruno would be a nice guy actually (Spoiler if you haven’t seen it). Captain Hook is from a story over 100 years old, and for which the royalties go to Great Ormond Street Hospital to help treat severely sick children…can we focus on that rather than worrying someone might be offended by an evil pirate with one hand? And Tinkerbell…the Disney version was created at a time when Marilyn Monroe, Mae West and all the other classic Hollywood actresses were at their height because they embraced their bodies and sexuality. I could literally name ANY Disney character from Mickey Mouse right up to the Mirabel in Encanto (I haven’t seen Turning Red yet) and find something offensive about every single one. Kids aren’t daft, they know who’s a bad guy, who’s a good guy, and the difference between someone they see in a movie and what they see in real life…it’s adults who press these woke ideas and funnily, it’s adults that should grow up or at least grow a pair.

This goes for the Disney Rides and Attractions the world over. I pointed some of the possible pitfalls that are now being considered while we rode on Peter Pan at WDW. Same with Pirates of the Caribbean and The Haunted Mansion for starters. What it must look like to someone on the Mine Train attraction as the ride slows at the house where a woman is living with 7 “little men”. Oh, the scandal. Young girls coming to Disney want to be seen as princesses if only for the time they are in this make-believe world. Young boys want to be pirates, frontiersmen, space cadets, or jedis in training. People need to differentiate between perception and the world that is being shown in a make-believe world that is Disney. As one of the characters in a Disney film put it so well – LET IT GO!!!

Why can’t people just enjoy a kids movie without picking at tiny little things in the movie. Aren’t movies meant to take people and kids to another place and to entertain us? Here’s an idea have all the original animated Disney movies run in theateres and let families make up their own minds, I was very lucky. I saw all but Fantasia in a movie theater in the early/mid 70’s( early shows on Sat) and still to this day watching these Classics isn’t the same as on a Big Screen w/butter popcorn, drink and milk duds to boot.Bring back Childhoood.

Enough of the Adults canceling Childhood. Please let Parents do their own “parenting”, if they don’t want their kids to see it that’s up to them, I wanna be able to watch this with my Nephew and have a great adventure. Disney needs to stop this form of Censorship.
Here’s an idea have all the original animated Disney movies run in theateres and let families make up their own minds, I was very lucky. I saw all but Fantasia in a movie theater in the early/mid 70’s( early shows on Sat) and still to this day watching these Classics isn’t the same as on a Big Screen w/butter popcorn, drink and milk duds to boot.Bring back Childhoood.
