When staying at WDW, we always choose Riverside, so, naturally, going to Disney Springs is a given. That being said, I’ve heard of, seen or bought anything from this store. Maybe we missed it because we head straight for the Disney Store and or other waterfront stores ( Lego, etc ) or to Wolfgang Puck’s eatery.
I’m not at WDW to shop, I can do that at home. . . Terms of the lease were known . . . That’s business.

Superdry was good when it opened but lately it’s an overpriced Walmart. Ugly generic clothes. It’s not what it was before.

Lease contract. Superbly not meeting contractual expectations. BYE

      … 😆 Superdry😄

Superbly is a word. They weren’t referring the name of the store. Basically the person was stating “drastically not meeting” by saying superbly not meeting 🙂

He was making his own correction. I think he knew what he was saying 🤣

Disney can’t expect them to make the same money when closed during plandemic! Even Disney lost money being closed! That being said Everything Disney has is very over priced and steadily having more price increases! Bought lot of stuff from this store, so hope they stay and win the suit!

      How true!

Commercial leases often contain performance requirements as part of the payment is based on the expected sales per square foot. Apparently they had not met the sales goal stated in the contract even before the pandemic. Under that agreement, the store also has the right to terminate early.

Since I moved to Florida in 1987 whenever guess we come from up north it always involves two or three days at Disney. Now that Disney has gone woke never again but I set foot or bring a guest to that park. I am fed up with a socialist tactics of the liberals Disney needs to stay out of politics

      1. Shalese

Good riddance!! You expected someone to cry with your racist a**?

      2. Pj

Go back north leave florida to the floridians that arent transplants from the rust belt or north east, then you dont have to deal with woke

Didn’t ever go in there so I could care less if they leave. Well maybe it would be good if they left and maybe a better more fun Disney type store could take its place! Disney for the Home, or. Store with mercy from the various rides, or who knows.,..

  6. I believe that someone commented it best. I do not go to WDW to shop. I go because I enjoy going! Sometimes I will sit and ” people watch”. I love EPCOT’s showcases! I enjoy the Market Place. I love having a cappuccino and a dessert! I love sitting by the pool at night. Your toes feel so warm. There is so much to do! My Husband and I also like the arcades. It’s just the two of us so we can stay for 10 days. No more Pleasure Island for us. We hold hands and walk all over the different hotels.

I’ve been in the store and it was all winter clothes that I can get at Walmart for sure. Except the prices were Disney base prices. Even before the pandemic they were not hitting the revenue that was stated in their lease so Disney has every right to ask them to leave. The company is just trying to use the pandemic as an excuse to sue. Disney will win that lawsuit because they have records showing pre-pandemic prices were under the lease expectations.

  8. So much to see. I used to go with my girlfriends. I thought that was the most fun I could possibly have. I was so very wrong! Louis makes me laugh so hard that the water that I am drinking comes out of my nose!

    1. Brian

Lol, you don’t like Disney, and only go there to shop at Superdry, not even a Disney related store.. yeah, keep “praying”. I’m sure God loves shopping at Superdry too.

You must be a lame in real life.. you probably felt real big with that smart ass remark to the lady above . I bet you can’t crush a grape in real life.. she simply stated an opinion & you wanna talk smart.. got that keyboard courage.. LMFAO loser.

Maybe they should have just raised the prices on everything to make up for lost revenue or instituted a Genie+ system to get in the store faster. Plus take away perks. Sound familiar?

The $1.75 mil. earned during the pandemic is 41% of their agreed upon goal. Contractually, they have no case unless they can prove that their earnings were comparable to the other Disney Springs stores. But, by not meeting the contract agreement in pre-pandemic years, I’d venture to say that their earnings won’t equate to the other stores. I’m surprised that they would want to remain, being that their earnings are low and I would assume their lease is extremely high.

    Close all Disney who cares.

      Amen…!

LOL, here come the Religious holier than thou MEGA KARENS!!
      Take cover!

When Disney executives are caught wanting to teach young children about sexual identity, it’s time for any sane parent to rethink their connection with the company. Walt would be so ashamed of present day Disney

  13. Jan Williams

The store opened 4 years before the pandemic and never achieved the sales amount stipulated in the contract. That isn’t big, mean Disney.

I’m sorry for the employee’s who always get caught in the middle of these things.

    1. Cameron

Agreed.. and how is it that they were able to hang on this long?
And sorry but not sorry … I don’t go to Disney to go to a mall.

  14. Deb

A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush. So, I expect that Disney already has something lined up to replace it.

  15. Elena Clinton

doing it again! showing World of Disney (making people think it’s that store), but talking about a different store entirely! Why don’t you do the right thing to begin with?? I’ve had it with your rumor mongering and incorrect reporting! bye bye!

Disney died the day Walt did .
