We were just there. It seems all the time Disney was down maintenance went to side. The under sea ride had several things not working. Ariel was not dancing and many fish not moving. Several other rides had parts not moving. As a family with an electronic tech from the usps. These areas would be simple maintenance. Same with the ques. Hire back the maintenance teams
Disney was once world renowned for its upkeep and safety measures. Time to close down and fix the place up, even at a loss. Imagine how many millions a family could sue for if this glass ball had fallen on someone’s head and killed them or if a person had lost an eye to a flying shard!
Lol. Sometimes accidents happen. I’m sure Disney will resolve the issue. I hardly think this minor incident is worth an entire news article- but hey, I guess if you’re desperate then you’ll bring attention to anything.
You know it’s not so much that a prop failed and cut several guests that’s the big issue, it’s the fact there wasn’t multiple CM’s helping out within 5 minutes of it happening. It’s the fact that maintenance has been slipping greatly for a good 5 years now.
Buy hey, I guess if you’re gullible enough you’ll skirt this under the rug with all the other incidents that happened.
I’ve been around long enough that I remember last time Disney lacked this much in maintenance and it got a 22 year old man killed.
If it were you or your family that got injured or worse perhaps that would wipe the smile from your face?
Truth is Disney have cut back, probably to put more profit and bonuses in their own pockets, this comes at a huge price to the public. Disney seem to care less about health and safety and the state of the parks and their management, its all about the money. Greed out and out.

Let’s face it, there’s just way too many of these Oops going on! No amount of positive talk makes this go unnoticed.!!!

Very lucky it didn’t fall on someone’s head!
