The cords would be a nightmare. What would be worth it’s weight in gold is a Lightning Lane for the transportation to the resorts! I would pay premium for that! I’:m not even ashamed to admit it. Maybe a lightning lane bus or just cutting to the front all together. Either way, not ashamed. 😂😂😂
Disney just not the same, everything now is a cost, buses over crowded, just more time on your mobile 🙈🙈🙈 with usbs on buses, why can’t disney run without a mobile phone been used, I want to go on holiday to relax & enjoy without consistly on my mobile phone, everything is done by mobile with disney NO NO DISNEY STOP WITH ALL THIS MOBILE PHONE USING ITS JUST NOT ENJOYABLE 😡😡😡😡😡
I agree. It was a huge distraction, dangerous at times as people were not watching where they were walking…delayed GPS and info…lack of areas to charge phones w SO MANY people was NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. Also need to actually restrict the number of people. March 20th – 24th it was NOT noticible that capacity was limited.
Most people would disagree with you. You don’t need to use it to enjoy your trip, but it makes it more convenient to use it instead of having to physically go somewhere in order to do something like order food or get a lightning lane scheduled. I don’t understand people’s unwillingness to use technology.
Jordan, it’s not that technology is a problem, it’s that noone seems to be able to regulate it’s usage! That goes for business & individuals. With tech. more is not necessarily better. Something to be said about walking the park, exercise, to the ride you want, all the while being present in the moment, meeting strangers from other places, etc. Their even going virtual cues as a money saver & Disney always had the best immersive ones & again while waiting in line is a good time to talk to some people from other cities, towns & countries. This whole system separates us more in the name of speed, aren’t our everyday lives rushed enough, does vacation have to be?
There should be more outlet availability throughout the parks, with the Disney app running alone will drain batteries, and after all you are there to either vacation, celebrate, just enjoy the time so you’ll be needing battery life for the camera most of all. Now it’s an extra thing to be concerned about and the power rods are like what $30. Definitely need back up batteries even have Grandma take her phone she never uses to be fully charged.
You can get a way better and less expensive charger elsewhere. You don’t have to buy those power rods. My portable battery lasted several days before I needed to charge it and it was about that price.
Great.. just more reinforcement to stare at your phone and not the world around you.. no wonder they think they can get away with taking more and more of the magic away from guests. We all have to spend half the time looking down at our phones…
My family is not into the “New Disney”! Besides so many other changes, we do NOT wish to be plugged in ALL DAY to navigate through our vacation days. To each his own! Apparently, Disney leaders have no desire to listen.

You can charge your phone without looking at it though.

I can see people diving for the outlet, bickering about power hogs.
You can’t win with the New Disney. 🤷🏼♀️
