No Finding Nemo show is also a big deal.

    1. SH

EXACTLY. WTF is this guy smoking. My GF is a manager that covers AK shifts Sunday and Mondays. EMPTY? We went a few weeks ago and it was PACKED.

Hour plus long waits on most rides, even Dinosaur. You have to show up to Lion King and hour early to get a seat.

      Give me a break.

  2. Mike

Seems like the perfect time to visit AK!

    1. Rob

That just means that everyone is now clustered around Pandora. You probably wouldn’t be able to even move around that area of the park.

      1. Rose

Disney’s gone Woke. They’ll never get another dime from me!!

        1. Jim

Me too Disney is out to corrupt our society through our children

        2. Ugh

          BYE LOSERS!!

        3. Pat

          Exactly the reason.

    2. Debbie

At Animal Kingdom yesterday. Park extremely full!!

      1. I took my 8 yr old to Disney in Florida last may. It was such a disappointment 4 of the main rides that we stood in line waiting for our turn has shut down before we got to our turn
        Food was totally outrageously
I spent more money at Disney by staying at their resort.( Instead of renting a car.)the one week
And buying all the 4 theme parks and food
Than when I went to London England for a week

  3. Christine

They are revamping Finding Nemo with new sets, etc
Of course that photo would have people; it is by Everest.
The park has been very busy and I was just there.

    1. WorkHard BeNice

Disney treats their employees like dirt (some are homeless) while making billions of dollars and pushes for a woke agenda. Can’t imagine why anyone would stay away…

      1. Ugh

Cause you passed by and you stink like A$$.

  4. Kat

I hope they’re replacing some of the rough track parts.

  5. Mason

What type of idiot business move was this?

    1. Jordan

To do ride maintenance? I don’t know, maybe commonsense. You can’t expect a ride like this to run smoothly forever without doing anything to keep it running that way.

  6. Frank

Can we please use the word
    “indefinitely” correctly???

Because that isn’t the right word.

Have it say “for the foreseeable future”.

    Indefinitely means closed permanently!

    1. YeahRight

      in·def·i·nite·ly
      /ˌinˈdef(ə)nətlē/
      Learn to pronounce
      adverb
for an unlimited or unspecified period of time.
      “talks cannot go on indefinitely”

  7. Lol

Area around a ride that is closed is not surrounded by crowds waiting to get on that ride that is closed…
    WHAAAAAAT??? ..NO WAY!!!

  8. Becky

You can’t say the park is “practically empty” when it’s literally at sold out capacity for almost all of April.

  9. Maddy

I was at animal kingdom in February. It was fantastic! Pandora was amazing.
All the critters were awesome. Spent hours and hours there thoroughly enjoying!!
This old lady actually walked over 9 miles that day.
    Memories of a lifetime!♥️♥️♥️

  10. Fedup

Disneys decline has nothing to do with it’s rides and everything to do with it’s policies. Parent’s don’t want to subject their children to this type of madness, we’d rather pay to see a whale in captivity than a ferrie in leotards.

    1. Joem

Disney isn’t in decline. It is busier than ever. None of us will mind if you never go back to any Disney park.

      1. Denise

According to Disney themselves, attendance isn’t in decline. However, they have definitely been seeing a decline in attendance since their wokeness got in everyone’s face.

    2. What are you going to do when you have a ferrie in your own home??
      Just be nice.

      1. FedUpAlso

Fedup sadly most sheep don’t care that Disney is openly grooming and has been for a while now

    3. CG

      Bye!

    4. Ugh

You ARE a Whale in captivity.

    5. Pat

      Agreed

  11. Sur

Gosh so much negativity. What a way to make a living. It must be difficult. Find another topic, and get off FB.

  12. Suzanne

It wouldn’t be empty if they let more people in! They say the all their money, For how long? They get tickets for Disney for four, then they decide that they want to take grandma. Guess what she can’t get a ticket because the code is been hit for the day.
Things have become so expensive, tickets! That now the parks are for the rich only. It is become in accessible for the common man. Do you know the one that has kids too! We realize that it takes a lot to run the park and pay the people a living wage. But there has to be a point when you have to look at the ordinary people and their families and let them out at a decent price.

    1. Writeallthetime

It’s always been expensive…and the common man saves for years to take a trip or at least they used to.

  13. Orlando

This article is absurd. The parks, all for four of them, have been at full capacity all week. My son and his wife work there and I’ve been there twice this week.

    1. jay

its only full capacity because they reduced the capacity in half.

      1. Joem

You clearly haven’t noticed that that has changed. The parks are now full or nearly full every day

    2. Sue

I know people that work there and we go bc we live right there and yes the parks are crowded it’s Disney. It doesn’t matter what rides are down or how much they charge for tickets people will go.

  14. jay

of course they will claim its the closure of everest… and not the wokeness, new ticketing reservation system bs they are putting their guests through… i’ll stick with universal from now on.

    1. Joem

      Please do.

    2. Ugh

      Bye BYOTCH!!!

    3. Cee

      Agree Jay!

  15. Kevin

So what this really means is that, since no one can ride Everest, EVERY OTHER PART OF AK is packed with the people who would be waiting for that ride, now waiting to get on everything else. In essence the park is even more of a nightmare.

    1. J.

      Exactly!

  16. Kevin

Believe me it’s full to capacity. Author doesn’t know what there talking about. Just spent two days at animal kingdom, wait times for every ride in there. Flight of passage ride was over two hours wait most of the day.

  17. Chris

Is this a joke?? Here at the moment and have never seen the parks busier🙈

  18. Dave Hastings

Doesn’t help that the also removed Primeval Whirl. Just not enough to do at AK to waste a park reservation.

  19. Jeff

I’m pretty sure Disney supporting pedos is probably why attendance is down

    1. Deb

It was really nice without all.the MAGA cultist there.

      1. Writeallthetime

Ewww…did you really write that?? Deb”bie” downer!
Just remember Florida is a State run by a common sense Governor and remained open through much of Covid.
Keep your exclusionary comments to yourself

        1. Ugh

          Really SCREECHING KAREN??
Let me guess, you’re one of the ones that was yelling and degrading the minimum wage workers who were required to put your mask back on, right hyena??

  20. Dianne Bolz

Well, this whole article is a lie. It was very full, especially at the Avatar section with 120 minute lines and at the Safari ride. Head there first! We were there last week.

  21. Disneylandmom5

Not sure where you got your info. But. according to someone close to me who actually works on Everest. It is closed TEMPORARILY for refurbishment, not indefinitely.

  22. Allie

They have delayed opening it by April 30th. It is not closed indefinitely. Cast members say possible two weeks later then originally planned.

  23. Manny

Riiiiight, that’s why the park is empty.

    1. Ugh

      The park’s not empty, simpleton.

  24. Jacquelyn

I was there yesterday and it was the furthest from empty. Seas of people even with Indiana Jones down and closed pirates.
You could ride about 6 rides in 11 hours.

    1. Writeallthetime

      It’s terrible isn’t it?!
The only thing Disney does really really well is advertising . Their commercials get you to book and your hype until you get there and can’t move. It has become such a drag.

      1. Bonnie

The park is empty because people are sick of Disney shoving its leftist politics and policies on everyone. It is supposed to be a magical place for all. Nobody going there wants to hear it they just want to have fun.

        1. Writeallthetime

Disney is definitely showing its seams…. It used to be a happy place and for decades enjoyed a reputation free of negativity…no more

        2. Ugh

You KARENS are beyond pathetic. There are no “politics” being “shoved” on you while at the parks.. the only drama is the drama that Screeching hyenas like YOU bring in.

  25. Writeallthetime

Such a poorly written article. The use of so many words reminds me of when I was in middle and HS and you needed to write a 1500 word paper but we’re at a loss to write a quarter of that!
Also, there is no explanation as to why the ride is closed. To say AK is empty…especially on the heels of Easter break is ludicrous!!
    Ugh….

    1. Puffy McPuffin

Yeah I felt like it was someone in college who has to make sure they at least get a certain amount of words in their article.

  26. CG

Why do you always bash disney? Seems as if you are pushing our murderer governor’s agenda.

  27. Billy

Maybe they should change the name to Disney’s Child Abuse Park. That way they won’t have to worry about staying closed the people will make sure to that.

  28. Rao G

Um… it reopens 4/16. Get your facts straight and chill a little.

  29. Gary

Pushing an unasked for sexual agenda too little kids, as well as news coming out they offered snorkeling adventure cruises to epstein Island certainly didn’t help ticket sales.

  30. Yo

Or it could be you people heard about Disney groomers.

    1. Sam Smith

POLL: 67% SAY DISNEY WRONG TO OPPOSE FLORIDA’S ‘ANTI-GROOMING’ SEX-ED BILL. Even a majority of Democrats support the Florida bill.

  31. Puffy McPuffin

There’s the Avatar ride so much like Soarin’ I’. not intrested. I got Indiana Jones and was sooo diappointed i. the lack of lighting for that Dinosaur version when I visited 2010. Aside from those 2 rides Mt Everest is the only great attraction to visit if you’re going for rides. They are fixing the Yeti anamatronic, the projector and screen from where you stop from going backwards to forwards after broken track AND they are replacing some sections of track to try and enhance a smooth ride.

  32. Rode it once few years ago…it is uncomfortable and leaves you queezy, not like the other disney rides you can’t wait to repeat.

  33. Rebecca D.

I hope this closure of Expedition Everest is for one of the purpose of reinforcing and repairing the impressive Yeti Animatronic. It will be worth the wait to see The Yeti in a Mode swooping over guests again.

  34. Your mama

Don’t believe this bs. That place is a nightmare which I will never return too. I can go to cancun 4 times for the same price.

  35. LAN

Everest opens back up on Saturday. This article is a bit drama queen about it.

  36. Mike

I love reading these articles but the torrent of ads coming at me from every direction makes it so disruptive that I can’t whack a mole fast enough to even see the text. If that’s the price I have to pay to read these breezy articles, I’ll have to pass. It’s absolutely maddening. Sorry, but I need to scream before I slay yet another ad coming at me from all directions

  37. Brian

Just more evidence that your site is complete trash. The park is packed.

And Everest opens back up tomorrow. Indefinitely???!

  38. o

Such a badly timed post with incorrect information. It’s opening again TOMORROW.

  39. Kathy

    I feel
the whole park is going to be more scarce since it’s becoming woke.

  40. Sam Smith

So what do you think when a company that was built on family values supports a pro gay-grooming law? Are you Happy to see this company as the source of so many pediphile news stories?
Think that helps Disney stock prices?

    1. 001

What “pediphile” stories are you talking about, Karen?? You gonna make up incidents again in your head? Take your medication, pathetic witch

  41. Bob Mask

The parks are packed, I work there, don’t believe for a second that its empty !

  42. CR

Absolute nonsense as the ride reopened on 18th April 22, I was there and went on it, twice. Also the park was not empty!
