I was at Whispering Canyon Café w/a birthday pin on before, & while yes, the cast member does take a bite out of the cupcake after singing to you, what wasn’t mentioned in the above article was that right after that happens, the cast member comes back out w/another untouched huge cupcake for you – people need to post the whole story & not just half of it
Exactly!! We went for my birthday 2 years ago, my first visit there, and they did the same thing. My niece actually chased our server through the restaurant after the cupcake lol
We are local and that is one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate birthdays! That’s part of the fun , they eat your cupcake , but the bring you out another , untouched. Geez these tourists are so uptight anymore.
Stupidity! I feel sorry for kids that have this done to them. Unacceptable, no matter what & where! I expect better from Disney. But, then again… that place has gone trash!
Whispering Canyon, or the Wahoo Cafe as my late husband called it, is our favorite restaurant in all of Disney. So much fun and you can respond back too the cast members in like fashion. Who wants ketchup??
