I miss The Great Movie Ride! I am not a fan of the new reimagined Mickey cartoons!

I agree I though the mini Mickey thing was stupid. Not at all up to Disney standards. I would have preferred they up dated the great movie ride. It was the perfect ride to enjoy to cool off on hot days.

My family loved the Great Movie Ride. Always enjoyed it. Stood in line to see the Mickey and Minnie ride. Was very disappointed. Expected much better from Disney .

We rode the B Version of Tower of Terror recently, the ride broke down and we were the last group of the night before close, they restarted the ride for us, but the video part with the family members was missing and we didn’t get the portion with the light door opening across as you move from shaft to shaft. It was interesting, not sure it was an actual B version but it definitely wasn’t the full ride. 😂

      Definitely just halfworking

As a castmember, I got to experience it when it was first opened, very disappointed, Mickey looked like he was on Crack, and Goofy just looked creepy.

What a shame that a company, founded on and committed to providing wholesome family entertainment, has allowed itself to be captured as a mouthpiece for ideological extremists. I would expect shareholders to bail on this stock soon.

Yes…very disappointed in Disney replacing the great movie ride with Minnie n mickey’s cheap “mapped projections”. Definitely the new Disney standard! I wouldn’t doubt if the new Bear Jamboree isn’t just “mapped projections”, taking away more of the magik!

Ok. I get nostalgia and all, but personally I thought the Great Movie Ride was a little boring. I do not like the new cartoons of Mickey and friends but I thought the ride was fun and entertaining.

Interesting. I remember riding the A-show and B-show of %he Great Movie ride, but its B-show was not due to a malfunction occurring. It was due to how the gangster show went.

I was super sad to hear about the great movie ride – it was one of my favs. But I will say I just rode this ride two weeks ago for the first time and I loved it! I was sad movie ride had to go still but this was a good ride – the Daisy dancing was the most random / my favorite scene lol

I agree being back The Great Movie Ride, just update it.
Ratatouille is similar in the mechanics but is so much better than M&M Railroad. Don’t waste 2 hours waiting in line for this!

I recall riding the Great Movie ride and seeing variations.

Recently, has similar experience with Ratatouille, where I recall two different experiences related to the popping of the champagne cork.

I like those variations, and I hope Disney creates more.

Same goes for Soaring. It would be great for Disney to use different videos and show other parts of the world.

Just a simple matter of programming. 😉

We miss the Great Movie Ride but the Mickey & Minnie ride is decent. We just were there and rode it on 2 different days because my 6 year old wanted to the next day we went to Hollywood. It was much better the first time I guess because it was new. Like I said, it’s a decent ride but nothing great.

This ride is really good. My daughter rode it three times. Unfortunately, when I rode it with her, it broke down halfway through and we had to be escorted out. It works on much the same technology as Rise of the Resistance, and evidently the software has a tendency to lock up. Still a very fun ride, and I love the new Mickey cartoons.
