There story doesnt seem to tread water. Maybe im wrong but seems like two washed up former disney stars, that look like they partied way to hard, trying to use a tragic situation for publicity!! Yes they were in fact having a show nearby. But what nobody is saying was were was the bus parked?? The shooting took place near Kst and 10 st, looking at maps and street views cant see a spot big enough for a “tour bus” or any large vehicle for that mater…. If they were truly in the cross fire then they should fire somebody, as a former touring musician, most acts big enough for a “bus” should have security to protect them and get them out of potentially/dangerous situations. EXACTLY!! and on top of it they posted a video for mtv instagram or somthing on there twitter and they in no way seem like were affected. majority of people would seem to have some emotion like sadness but they seemed pretty happy about going to the filmore show….. I would bet they are nothing but trying to get free publicity, sell tickets and merch guarantee there sells have gone up since….. absolutely disgusting!!!

I was a huge fan of Aly & AJ back in the day and I continue to check in on them every now and then, but I have to agree with you. This would not be the first time they’ve used a situation happening near them to promote themselves.
When a lesbian couple was discriminated against at a concert they did at a fair, they did nothing to stop the security guard from removing the couple. It was only when they were being “canceled” on Twitter that they finally spoke up and claimed to hate discrimination. Then they promoted their album right after. It left a sour taste in my mouth and I haven’t been able to get back into their music since then.
Times are tough, but this frankly reminds me of those Facebook/Instagram posts you see from people claiming they were “so near the danger” in high profile situations, but in reality they were miles away. It’s a form of attention getting that I don’t vibe with.

Not only that, but when another shooting in Sac happened I had friends that were in the area and watched the gunman. The Sac PD kept them there for what felt like an eternity and also informed them that they were not to discuss it with anyone. So doing an interview? Wouldn’t happen with someone that was there.

I looked this story up on the LA times there was a shooting and there was zero mention of Aly and AJ. I don’t believe what the LA times says 99% of the time but this I believe. Are they trying to be relevant again? Since they haven’t been relevant since 2007.

These pampered, protected, entitled nobodys feel they are better than mere humans, but they sure aren’t.
