Shrek 4 D was OK, however I do believe it has had its day, unlike the Jaws ride, Twister, Earthquake and Terminator to name a few, which I personally wished were still going. Not to say that the Harry Potter World is not good, its marvellous love it, but still have fond memories of those other attractions.

For a channel that’s exclusive towards Disney, you’re awfully obsessed with Universal!!

Inside the Magic is NOT an exclusive Disney site
It also covers Universal and does a good job doing so
I, for one, am very appreciative for their coverage of Universal
Clearly you are unaware that there are other forms of Magic in addition to the Sorcery of Disney World
Universal uses Wizardry as its form of Magic so it falls well within the range of coverage for Inside the Magic
There are also three other forms if Magic

Its not exclusive to Disney, its called Inside the Magic, which covers all the parks in nd around Florida for news. AND lets be honest the Greegy Board and Disney have all but sucked the magic out of Disney, they could learn a lot from Universal these days.

I believe ITM is not just for Disney but all the news from the parks in and around Orlando.

And these days Universal is so much better than Disney as this board has ripped the magic out of Disney.

I’m 70 years young and would love to see Universal Orlando. My only problem is that since my hubby passed away 5 years ago, I have nobody to go with. Still hoping to make it someday. Does anyone know when the least crowded months are?

Hi Debby so sorry to hear about your Hubby. I do hope you can get to Universal and Islands of Adventure, like Disney was once they are really fun and do have a lot of their own magic and fun.

I’m in the UK and we have always gone in early May and Mid September as after a lot of research we found the Parks were not so busy. But best not to go on the Weekends as they can be quite manic. The same can be said of Disney, but Disney has got so so expensive, and I am finding Universal offer so much more for your money and you will have just as much fun if not more when you go. Good Luck – Hope you get there soon – Julian

Minions is already open. We went through it on 3/10/2022.

It’s kind of sad to see Shrek 4-D go even though after riding it last year I did feel it was a little outdated. It was a new ride when I first went to Universal in 2004 along with the new brand new Mummy Ride (which I got to ride before officially open). Time certainly does fly.

We were there this week and why is this news? It’s been closed for a while. The minions ride was great.
Oh and the lines were low, did all the rides at both parks in less than 2 days!! Yep! Terrific time )and this during the Mardi gra/monsoon weather, lol). The staff at universal was wonderful too!!! I honestly cannot say enough about going this trip. We are over throwing away our money at Disney.
One more thing, yes the line at Hagrids is long …it was the only line we had to deal with…but so worth it! 45 minutes on Thursday after 5pm. We went and did it. Totally worth it! Loved it!!!!
Disney has a reason to be concerned (universal is catching up).
