We went to Magic Kingdom the week of Mar 6-13 and it was extremely busy. It was sold out on Mar 13. Only got on 3 rides all day and saw no Disney characters walking around all day.
We were there March 14-18. The crowds were large, but we were still shocked at the ride wait times. We’ve visited WDW this same week several times in previous years and never experienced this level of wait times. Maybe people didn’t want to pay for Genie+. In any event, all of this planning is taking the fun out of a WDW vacation.
I’m an annual visitor but waiting until the first week of November to go. I think the problem now is Spring Break + people getting back into traveling at the same time.
Regardless, I’d NEVER wait that long for any ride…
The new rip off lighting lane is a scam. 2-3 hours for a ride. A complete joke. They are way above anything that was considered a “busy” time even when they lie and say oh no we reduce daily guests. It’s all a lie to steal your money.
