There is actually at least 3 tributes to the Roger Rabbit film, in Hollywood studios. One being on the Tik Tok video in the article, 2 the billboard poster on top of the building right across from the 50’s prime time Café. Last you can actually see Benny the Taxi cab car they used in the film inside the back area of Backlot Express quick service restaurant.
There’s nothing controversial about WHI FRAMED ROGER RABBIT, you clueless writer – way to sink this website’s credibility even more, as it’s quickly becoming a joke in the industry….
Just google the controversy. I just did and I guess the animators threw some additional things in some of the scenes of the laserdisc release. Not a huge big deal and you have to slow the video down frame by frame in order to see it, but you know…news outlets like to make things a huge deal.
Jeez people… do some research before you blast the article. I know this website likes to make mountains out of mole hills, but we need to put some effort into the process.
That’s ancient news, and it’s also wrong. There was nothing added for the laserdisc, nor was there anything actually there. What appeared to be Jessica’s nethers was an accidental failure to paint her underwear at all. What people were actually seeing was the background through the gap in the paint.
The actual controversy the article is speaking of (a good article would have actually stated what the controversy is) is the fact that Jessica Rabbit is a voluptuous woman in distress who is rescued by a male character. In a previous piece on this website they said that the ride in Disneyland is being revised to make Jessica a trench coated detective who saves the day. More PC BS from Disney.
Which is utter nonsense. It’d be a questionable reason to be upset by the movie – though to the best of my knowledge no one ever has been, and it certainly hasn’t risen to the level of controversy – but it’s not even what happens in the movie. Jessica is by no means a damsel in distress, and her rescue by Eddie happens while she’s tied up with Roger, who’s in the very same danger. The only place it’s ever been an issue was in the ride at Disneyland, and only then in the minds of Disney execs.

Absolutely nothing. A claim made by this idiot author with not word to substantiate it. Great film.
