I have no problem with Minnie Mouse wearing a pantsuit, but the pantsuit they choose is ugly. At least in the drawing she has her signature polka dots. Those are not on the final pantsuit. I think that she looks like she’s in her pajamas. They should have gone with a red and white polka dot pantsuit for starters. At least I don’t have a huge problem with her pantsuit like everyone else, life is too important to stress over a costume.

    1. Sherri

Don’t care for the pantsuit! Just because it’s women’s history month Minnie has to wear pants???
My biggest qualm is changing the WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMAN…….. TO WELCOME EVERYONE???
They are ladies, gentlemen and children… TRUTH!
Disney is trying way too hard to conform to the world’s craziness. Thinking twice about returning with all my grandchildren.

      1. Tiffany

Sherri, I am sure your grandchildren will be delighted by your temper tantrum at a character costume. Also thank you so much for not being the person ruining the fun for everyone next time we are at the park.

        Kisses Tif

I personally don’t think the iconic Minnie Mouse.. The fashonista that she is.. Should never be in a pants suit.

    1. Linda Bradley

I agree, personally I think Minnie in a pant suit looks like Mickey with long eyelashes and a bow on his head!

      1. Walt

that’s the goal and the next politically correct milestone

      2. Rachel Winiecki

Really? What’s next Daisey Duck in a pantsuit? Sometime tradition should take precident over what’s politically correct. At least if it were still Pink.

      3. yes , we already have a boy mickey do not need another .

    2. Fashion fail. She looks like she’s wearing old school communist pajamas.

    3. Kari

Absolutely. Don’t mess with perfection. I am a retired female chemical engineer, from an era when you had to be a feminist to have such a job, and I think Minnie could wear pants if she were doing a pants-wearing job (like Amelia Earhart, or us 1970s female engineers.) But the classic Minnie should be the classic Minnie. And I would debate Stella McCartney, who probably never sized a pump or held a ratchet-lock wrench, about that.

      1. T

Classic minnie is black and white you are probably referring to her Coach leather jacket and plaid flannel skirt?

    4. Dayle

I agree and this looks like pajamas to me! Thats one UGLY pant suit!

  3. Sandy

Nothing against Stella McCartney, just the people running Walt’s company who think they know better than Walt.
There has been so many comments of people not feeling the magic they use to feel at WALT’S parks.
Just another example as to why people feel that way!
It doesn’t seem like the people running Walt’s company have a clue any more about Walt.

    1. Ali

      Exactly!

    2. T

You know Walt didn’t put her in that polka dot dress right?

  4. Jubal66666

She looks like a Korean dictator.

  5. Frank

Don’t like the new Minnie pantsuit

  6. Kimberly

Is the goal to strip Minnie of femininity? Make her androgynous? If so, Disney succeeded. The war on women continues.

    1. Teresa

Walt would be by rolling over in his grave. It’s ugly, not even feminine looking. Used to go to Disney World all the time. It is no longer family oriented. I will never go back.

      1. Walt

FULLY AGREE. Wht they call “inclusion” excludes people who adhere to traditional family values. Oh Oh is that terrible to say too bad there are more of us just in that camp than all the others who scream and make up all this garbage. I will never visit Disney again and I will never give in. In 200 years when they dig up your bones they will be able to tell if you were a male or female – what you “thought” or “claimed” to be will be relegatedto the dust bin – exactly where it should be.

        1. T

Great parenting demonstrating to your children how to blow one thing out of proportion to ruin the vacation.

    2. A Person Who is likes Disney

You’re trash, who obviously can’t spell or write a grammatically correct sentence. She’s wearing pants, why are you bringing trans or queer into this? People like you are the problem in this world, not people trying to live their best lives.

      1. T

YES! Like legit on both sides people not living THEIR best lives. Have fun in YOUR life and don’t drag some made up cry session to me (specifically you Teresa the sky is not falling). We all have had a Disney trip ruined by a “Teresa” complaining about something from the ingredients in the food to the age appropriateness of Indiana Jones.

    3. T

The war on women. Do you need help with your cross? My god get a hold of yourself.

  7. Kevin

Why did they want to make Minnie look like Hillary Clinton?

    1. Dayle

      or harris?? its just UGLY!

  8. Poody

This is absolutely terrible!!! Minnie’s outfit is ilegendary. It’s like seeing Coke change it’s image. Keep your hands off Minnie’s wardrobe!

  9. Chris B

    Looks like Mickey in drag

  10. Sue

Minnie in a pant suite is WRONG!!!!

  11. Mickeymouse3

Politically correctness strikes again at Disney. Trying to please everyone, all the time, when in reality, they are only pleasing some of the people, some of the time.
This set of pajamas…aka pantsuit…has to go.

    1. T

Sounds like you are trying to enforce your own political correctness. Its a limited time celebration of Disney Paris not a planned attack on you. Its a corporate acknowledgment of a segment of their theme park family but hey you could blow it out of proportion and cry and ruin a good time.

  12. Fran Coghlan

I hate the pants suit, why can’t a girl wear a dress? Disney is getting so bad trying to be politically correct that it is disgusting! I love the dresses Minnie wears and it should NOT CHANGE!

  13. Suz

Might as well rename Walt Disney World to
    “Woke Disney World”

  14. Jamie

Absolutely ugly & shameful to Minnie. She’s always about the dress no matter what color. The pantsuit is just another way to cater to the LGBTQ people who are trying to change all of our kids. That’s one reason I will never go there again which is sad. It should also be sad to every female out there too that they are making her gender neutral. Last time there was 2018 with my 10 year old. I have a 7 month old now & I will not subject her to Disney Woke.

    1. Dawn

LMAO!!!!!! This in no way makes Minnie gender neutral. It’s Female Empowerment, showing that women do not need to wear a dress to be a woman. You do realize that this isn’t the first time they have had Minnie in pants, yes? And this is for two things: The 30th Anniversary of Disneyland PARIS and to celebrate Woman’s History Month. That’s all. It’s not permanent. It’s TEMPORARY. But as with women in the real world, we are allowed to wear pants.

      1. Dayle

        but such ugly pants!

      2. Jamie

I know women are allowed to wear pants & I know I see it in business attire. It looks ridiculous & Minnie has been all about the dress & appeal to kids.

    2. T

Jamie its a limited time celebration of Disney Paris but hey you could blow it out of proportion.

  15. Sue

YUCK! Disgusting – Disney staff has gone to the birds! Not Minnie at all!

  16. Sue

They are out of line with this change. Revert back and design a new dress for her – but NO PANTS!

  17. Patti

Just no. This makes me sad.

  18. Maria

It’s definitely a NO ! It’s ugly and size is totally wrong ! And the color is terrible! Who ever came up with this idea totally “goofied” it ! I would say if you want to please people create a different character and let the people choose who they want to take pictures with and buy the merchandise! Most of us love our feminine Minnie ❤️

    1. Yes well said !

  19. Virginia

Minnie Mouse belongs in her polka dot dress. Period!!!

    1. Yes she is iconic

      1. T

she is iconic but the polka dot dress is just one outfit just like the cruise collection…

    2. T

so only the 1986 version not walts?

  20. Robert Katz

If that’s Minnie Mouse, why does she look like Hillary Clinton in that outfit?!

  21. james

    Miniman now a dude LOL

  22. R

When its just TOO HETERO, WDW WILL Change it.

    1. Dawn

It has nothing to do with WDW!! It’s TEMPORARY for the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland PARIS. Paris, you know…. in France.

      1. Does not matter where , they should not change Minnie she is iconic . Seem they are just trying to be politically correct . What is next putting Mickey in a dress , changing Snow white and so on . Walt Disney must be looking down in anger !

        1. T

Is this your first experience with character costumes? A limited time celebration of Disney Paris not a planned attack on you. Minnie changes outfits for events all the time. You could lighten up Linda and try to have fun rather than bring us all your cry baby antics. Stop ruining the fun!

  23. R

When its just TOO HETERO, WDW WILL Change it..

  24. Peggy

The color is boring. Go back to the red and white.

  25. Caroline Bloomquist

No. Just no! This is ugly and NOT our Minnie. Baggy pants and shapeless jacket – looks more like pajamas than business. Fans loved Minnie in her dresses. You could make her dress more business and still have it be acceptable to her fans. Most women wear pants to work or church but they sure don’t look this bad. Your overhaul is a massive fail.

  26. Rj

I find it insulting that in order to show “ equality “ with Men, women have to wear Mens traditional clothing… Pants! And during Women‘a History Month? NO!!!

    1. Dawn

So… put Mickey in dresses? Sure, dresses and high heals were made for men to wear, not women. Same with wearing makeup. They were all created as fashion statements for MEN.

    2. Yes I agree , I am a woman who has a career and I make six figures . I enjoy being a female and wearing dresses , do not tell me I have to look like a man ,to be independent , competitive or successful .

  27. Dawn

Wow, so much ignorance. Do people just not read the articles? It’s for two specific reasons. First, to celebrate Disneyland PARIS’ 30th Anniversary. That means it’s in PARIS. Secondly, it’s for Woman’s History Month. To show that women are not limited to wearing nothing but dresses, and can function in a workplace in pants (Oh, the horror! Women wearing functional clothing!). It’s not as if this is the first time Minnie has been dressed in pants, and I guarantee it will not be the last. Just because you have your idea of what she should look like and wear, does not make your ideal correct. They can allow the characters to grow and change with the times!

I am not a fan of the way the suit hangs on her, but come on, it’s a Cartoon Character! In each cartoon they *could* choose to have her dressed in something else.

    1. T

YES! I feel the scale of these issues are way out of wack. People are relating every little thing with some huge assault on their very being. Like it, or don’t like it, but blowing one detail out of proportion to ruin a vacation is insane.

      1. Marc

Dawn and T………….the article asked for opinions. People are giving them. Why are you bashing their opinions? Give yours and move on. You keep telling others to move on so why aren’t you??

  28. Dayle

she looks like Mickey with a bow and eyelashes, this is an awful look! Please make her look feminine again, this is just plain UGLY!

  29. Marjorie

Not a fan, she looks like she is in her Pajamas and slippers.

  30. Mary

I just wish people would STOP trying to change everything for political reasons, I guarantee Walt is rolling over in his grave. Even Disney isn’t sacred anymore. Sad news for the world

    1. T

Its a celebration for Paris Disney just like her Coach leather jacket and plaid flannel skirt its one of many outfits Minnie has. Get a hold of yourself.

    2. T

Oh and dont drag the bones of Walt out to implant your beliefs on he never put her in that red polka dot dress everyone seems fixated on.

  31. Marc

Glad I have no plans to go to Paris.
I agree with the majority this outfit is ugly and not flattering.
I also agree there is nothing like the outfits she has been wearing for many years as we identify with that.
Disney’s changes are not what most people identify with. I also do not like them. I think management has lost sight of Walt’s original purpose. It is not becoming the affordable family parks.

  32. Tiffany

Its not a change its one outfit. Please stop coming to Disney. Stop complaining about money in front of my kids, stop complaining about your offence in front of my kids, stop making a fun vacation all about you.

  33. Mason

Honestly how is wearing a pants suit honoring women’s history month? Can’t wait to see Drag queen Mickey in June.😂😂😂😂😂😂

  34. Kay Isley

That pants suit is just ugly. Minnie needs to be in a dress; preferably her signature red dress with polka dots. I don’t mind the special event dresses, but that pants suit does nothing to honor women.

  35. Kenr

A fashion designer designed that? It’s really ugly. Not pretty at all.

  36. Denise

Gee, I wonder what leftist agenda they are trying to push here!

  37. Eugenia

I was trying to figure it out but you nailed it!

  38. Donna

I hate that we are caving to a group of people after all these years. Minnie is an icon wearing her iconic dresses and she should stay that way! Her new pantsuit makes her look frumpy and in no way should be a permanent fixture! Come on Disney fans, speak up!

  39. 316

This will not last long. I guarantee it.

    1. Tiffany

It last one month at Paris Disney.
