I know the character meet and greets in Disneyland Paris have recently returned, but I want to know when the character meet and greets in Disneyland California (especially, the meet and greets with Ariel, Snow White and Cinderella inside the Royal Hall) will come back?
No reason with a “furry” headset that the “plush” characters should still be distanced. I would welcome any “flesh” character to wear a mask or not as their personal choice when taking photos with guests. I personally would not think twice about taking a photo with my favorite “flesh” character if we were both wearing masks. It would just further show in my album the hard times EVERYONE was facing right now. I think that Disney really missed out on a fabulous opportunity to score points with adults (at least with this grandma they did). Disney should have immediately designed and created facial masks for ALL PLUSH characters showing to the kids that were visiting the parks that “even Pooh; even Mickey; even etc are wearing their masks because they don’t want to get Coronavirus so please keep yours on too.” Terrible missed opportunity right there! I can’t believe no one in marketing grabbed that, especially for print/TV commercials when the parks were slowly trying to reopen. Now it’s too late to try to pull something like that off. For this grandma, and current WDW cast member for 8 years, with three grandkids who live with and nearby I will not be returning until ALL character meet and greets are in full recovery and open for personal hugs. The characters are the only reason I take my grandkids to the parks. We were going to dinners at various character dinings and then stay for fireworks. My oldest loved the experiences she had at Epcot and now that character avenue is gone but we will find a new favorite place once they all return but we won’t be visiting until we can give/get hugs.

What about on their cruise line? Are they still distancing from the kids?
