I agree. I was on hold for over 4 hours before my call was answered. This was after the first time I called being on hold for several hours and I was disconnected and had to call back.
The phone lines aren’t even being handled by Cast Members in Florida, they’re rerouted to a call center (I was staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and pressed the Front Desk button which redirected me after 30 minutes to a call center lady who only admitted it and that she had never even stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge after I asked about something being accessible on property ) They even have incorrect information about our Annual Passes needing to pay for a Park Hopper upgrade. Had to request a call back from an actual Cast Member because you can’t directly call any resorts or rooms anymore – That customer service line is garbage.
LBGTQ are not special who need to be catered to. And just keep adding letters to it doesn’t make it disabled. You can’t scream equal rights when you want more. I personally don’t care who you love and again doesn’t make you special.
I agree that the customer service experience leads a lot to be desired. I was placed on hold several hours for several days trying to get a DAS pass only to find out that they would not accommodate our entire family and that you could only get 2 attractions per day on the pass. The cost of tickets, hotels and food keeps increasing while service keeps decreasing. Fast pass has been replaced by Genie which costs $15 pp/day and doesn’t guarantee you can even board the ride upon arrival. Half the time they make you check in and tell you to come back in 40 minutes. I’m through with Disney!
We planned a cousin’s reunion at the beginning of February. We all got reservations to Epcot. Thinking reservations would mean limited capacity, boy was I wrong! The park was packed shoulder to shoulder. Wait times for food and rides were horrendous. The reservation for rides was full by 7:10 AM and nobody seems to know what us going on! I lived in Florida and for a couple decades we had residential season passes, so I considered myself a Disney expert. I will not be going back anytime soon. Between 1 room, 1 night, tickets and food it cost $1,000. I can go to actual Paris for that cost. There was nothing fun and relaxing about our reunion. The best part was sitting in the hotel roon and odering food delivery because we couldn’t get any reservations at any Epcot restaurant. Sorry that Disney magic is no longer there
Disney World itself is no different than phone calls. Long lines and cast members are not helpful unless you count being told to use the Disney App for help. I have just been my last time to Disney Parks. I grew up with Disney and this is no longer the Park Walt envisioned. The normal working family can no longer afford to go and have a good time. The wait times are 100 + minutes on all rides. The only way to ride is to pay for fast pass.
This Enterprise has lost my family for good. I have 16 great nephews and nieces i will encourage to go eslewhere when they have their own family. I’m DONE with Disney after 10 to 15 trips since I became an adult.
Terrible customer service. I spent total of 9 hours on hold within 3 days trying to register for DAS. Customer service never answered.
We spent 4 days at the park and we’re overall dissatisfied. It’s all about the money and it’s no longer “The happiest place on earth”, for many reasons.

I can’t understand why people like you put up with such service. You can blame only YOURSELF.

What took you so long? Anyone who holds the phone for five hours has some serious brain issues!
