My family & friends will not go to Disney ever again. As long as the “Mouse” continues to cater in every way to the anti-family, satanic, vile, woke left, we’re done. All the “in your face” lesbian, gay, bi-sexed, trans-sexed, queer, plus, sjw snowflakes, they can have the whole Disney thing. They don’t need or want my money, so, to Disney, I say? Go Pound Sand! Disney, with all its woke, anti-family, unwholesome entertainment, and leftist nonsense? Bye, bye! My hope? Go woke, go broke.

    1. Randy W

Disney isn’t going broke anytime before humanity’s end, just saying.

    2. Len B

So many things to hate, so little time. But where will you go? Even NASCAR has betrayed you, and I’m thinking Disneyland Moscow probably won’t get Putin’s okay to open.

Bob your a bigot to me ..I get sick of hearing about your right wing hate in the world..

      1. AH

How do you know he is right wing? I know plenty of Lefties who feel the same way.

        1. Mike

Yeah, I’m definitely left — and I also can’t stand the pandering being done for the woke crowd. I changed my voting status to registered independent because I can’t stand being associate with woke people.

      2. Shadup

“You’re” is the word you are looking for. Your leftist illiteracy and hate do you no favors.

    4. Cryharderbigots

We don’t need losers like you coming to the parks, good riddance” “Bob.” I pity your family.

      1. Shadup

        “We”. LOL!
As if your whiny self has a stake in Woke Disney.

    5. Polly

I’m sure they won’t be missing you !! Waaaa!!!

      1. Shadup

        You sound 12.

    6. Shadup

4 of their employees were just arrested for trafficking children.
No wonder they are worked up over the Florida anti-grooming law just passed.

      1. Dawn

No, no they weren’t. Three of the four were looking for a prostitute, not a child. If you are going to make claims, research your information first.

    7. Dawn

You sound afraid of people and their personal choices. If they are not directly affecting you, why should you care and harbor so much hate???

    8. Zara

What a disgusting comment “Bob” I’m sure Disney and the community won’t miss you, especially with those opinions

    9. Ken Brenner

      Agree Bob.
When WDW started abandoning the traditional Disney theming (which was family oriented), things started going downhill.
They’ve lost their way, and need to return to their roots.
They could start by telling all the WOKE imagineers to leave social politics out of the parks.
It was once a place one could go to get away from the awful social turmoil going on in our society. Now, the woke-oriented leadership is shoving in our face.
      God Bless!

The question was “What attractions would you like to see make a return? “, not “What do you hate about Disney?”

Would love for voyage of the little Mermaid live show to return

My wife and took our youngest daughter for visit 25 years ago. We recently took her, her daughter and another granddaughter to all the parks. We were disappointed with the overall experience. The youngsters liked the rides, and some of the shows. But it was not a relaxing visit for anyone. It was much nicer and more family friendly 25 years ago. If you haven’t studied up on the new system to even get in the parks, visitors would have spent money and not even been allowed in. That needs to be simplified to one step. I personally felt it was far to expensive and the hassle of checking into the park took far to long. The fast pass to rides was nice but extremely expensive. As well as the preferred parking. Which I needed, because of a cast on my leg. It’s definitely not worth the expense anymore or the hassle you have to go through to visit Disney World.

      Totally agree with you!

While some parts of your article is right most of it
Was wrong…while they used the same boat the track was changed out…. The space use to be a lot bigger then it is now. Also boarding and exiting is now where only the exit use to be and you never end up where the entrance use to be also many turns to go straight which you would always face backwards in the old ride.

I really miss the old EPCOT night time show. It fit EPCOT. The new one was totally lame and, if I ever go back, I will not see it. Total waste of time.

  7. JG

Sorry to see most of this is about hating on Disney.
That said our family goes twice a year to Disney. Although I think the new Mickey and Minnie railway is super cute, I will forever miss The Great Movie Ride. It was fun to remember all of the oldies with my kids and enjoy the great beautiful scenes. My girls always especially loved the Wizard of Oz.
Lots of things to miss but lots of new things to love.

Probably the ride I miss the most is Horizons. I used to love going to EPCOT, but over the years the best rides closed (World of Motion, Universe of Energy) and the “edutainment” aspect was pushed aside for thrill rides. Even Spaceship Earth and Journey into Imagination are lesser experiences than they once were.

  9. SG

Loved EPCOT’s Malestrom Magic Kingdom and Extra TERRORestrial and fireworks Whises: A Magical Gathering of Disney Dreams – unfortunately out of reach now for most of us.

As for the strange conversation that popped out about gay rights. This is not the platform and I don’t want my few gay friends to be treated this way. Like Thumper said “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. “

  10. Jeff

Would take illuminations with the fire barge over almost anything else. Show was just never the same after it was retired/blew up. Have been underwhelmed by all of the other shows in comparison.

  11. Matthew Brewster

I think Horizons and World of Motion are far more missed than Maelstrom!!!

  12. Anon

“EPCOT has a rich history unlike any of the other three Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort.”
What an absolute joke of an article. I stopped reading right there.

  13. Horizons for me too. I was lucky enough to have experienced it before it was lost (I live in England so a lot more of a feat). It had SO much packed in and so much to look at. The entire ethos of EPCOT is probably irrevocably lost now. It was never meant to just be a “Disneyworld 1.5”. But that is sadly what it’s become, because clearly the boards lack the bravery to stick to the original idea of the place. It would be far braver to update the educational rides rather than just insert the same old themes of the park next door. But here we are. 😔

    1. Ken Brenner

      Hi Stephen.
First, hello to our dear friends and allies in Great Britain (I lived their 1963-1966 with the US Air Force).
Concur with you – Epcot was meant to be a very unique place: Informational, with a very beautiful and spread out location.
The rides (Frozen, Guardians, and Ratatatouille) all belong in either Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom.
Very sad they took something so interesting and nice and ruined it…

  14. Greg

Updated If you had wings in the Odyssey building in EPCOT

  15. Mike

Bring back the Millennium parade!!! It may have been Disney’s best attraction ever.

  16. Ken Brenner

    Changes I’d make:
    1. Get rid of the current fireworks show and its awful barges, bring back Reflections and its wonderful music
    This is doable now.
    2. Never have replaced Maelstrom with Frozen.
The original was informational-based about a country, especially the short movie shown at the end just after leaving the boats. Frozen is for kids and belongs elsewhere.
    3. Never built Guardians and Ratatouille – they belong in other parks. I’d have used that money to update some of the existing country pavilions. For example:
    – A boat ride down the Rhine river in Germany
    – Soarin over the US in that pavilion, replacing the current stage show
But then, I’m only a regular customer – what do we know…

  17. Chris Kinney

The original Journey into Imagination. BRING BACK FIGMENT AND THE DREAM FINDER!
