I’ve had fun at drag shows and I love everyone having fun with dress up and everyone enjoying their life the way they like to live it. Even so, how does the drag queen flavor of La Cage aux Folles or Pink Flamingoes add to a child-oriented story about witches and Halloween? I’m OK with it, just a little puzzled.
It almost seems like adding an element of race cars or space aliens into the mix. Maybe it can work but I’d like to know a little bit more about the how and why.
