There is absolutely no need for K-3 students to be taught about gender issues. It is simply age inappropriate. As far as Pixar employees are concerned, they are hired to produce a product that will be financially viable. If they don’t like it find a job elsewhere. Many people forget that Disney historically has hired from the LBTGQ+ community. Any employer in their right mind wants to keep politics out of the workplace. It simply isn’t cost effective. No problem, these protesters are probably causing more damage than they know.
As a gay man growing in in a rural area, yes I was aware of being gay that young. It is important to know it is ok, and at any age, it is not always possible to talk to parents about it. Look at the number of teens that leave home because parents can not deal with having a gay child. We need to learn that children are going to be what they are going to be, and you can change their sexuality, it will be what it will be, like being left-handed. This bill is the right trying to find a way to curb something that they fear, and think is a plot, they say they want freedom, but only freedom that makes the world the way they want it, (they don’t care if their children will be happy, just as long as they fit into the image they want.
