I personally liked this ride and was sad to see it closed the last time I visited Disney in 2009.

Hopefully there will be a new ride built in it’s place as I will not go out of my way to walk thru Mid way games I’m not wasting money to play nor do I enjoy eating at that restaurant.

I wouldn’t take a rest in that area either cause w mid way games they are loud including the cast members trying to get you to play.

Whole area needs a remodeling in my opinion.

Dinoland and the Dinosaur ride are Great. Sadly the rest of the area Disney needs to rethink.

We loved it too! One of my favorite Disney memories was in 2016 we let my kids ride with my MIL and all the other adults were in with us. It started pouring and we laughed so hard because there was no way to get us off. I have never laughed so hard in my life!

Last visit to Disney was 2019. Not sure why my previous post says 2009.

I hope they keep the fun dinosaur parts (Boneyard, Triceratops Spin, Restaurantosaurus), but maybe take this chance to add the mythical animals area that was dropped from the original park concept. Or perhaps, given the success of Encanto and Coco, give us something from Central and South America. Plenty of interesting wildlife and cultures for theming.

We were typing at the same time, and both hit on Central America. That’s saying something.

This makes no sense; that ride anchored that area. And it was the perfect setup for families: when my family went in 2016, my husband and older child rode PW, while my son and I played the midway games. (I could not ride due to disability, otherwise we would have done a rider swap, and Disney would have made even more money off the games.) Triceratops spin isn’t a unique enough ride, so that whole area is now likely to get passed over by most without younger kids; the rest will likely head straight for DINOSAUR. A “Good Dinosaur” ride would have been a good for staying on theme while tying in Disney IP for a new attraction.

I don’t know about others, but Raya wasn’t that big a hit for our family. We enjoyed it, but it wasn’t one we’ve been drawn back to. And we already have magical/mythical creatures represented in Pandora. If the whole area was rethemed, I would suggest a Central & South American theme, tying in Encanto. That region of the world is not yet respresented in AK, so lots of rainforest animals could be introduced, and a ride through Antonio’s room would be *amazing*.

A seating area? How fun and exciting lol. I don’t like the entire Dino area and wish it would be turned into something else.

The ideas about the Encanto theme are AWESOME. Some of the games @ midway could easily be themed (using the sister’s character for the strong man game is one example). They could redo boneyard with a Bruno theme since his room included sand too. I love the idea about a ride through Antonio’s room as well
