I’ve seen a $100 dollar bill donation also when my family were fortunate enough to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during the soft opening. We were in line for Smuggler’s Run and we’re surprised to see the large denomination under the giant engine in the queue. There it was lying among the small the other change, we marveled that 1) someone was generous enough to toss a $100 bill and 2) that it actually landed on the metal plate suspended under the giant engine that is suspended from the ceiling. There were plenty of coins that didn’t make it on the metal plate and landed on the ground far below. My friend who went with us, and who is a former Cast Member at the Resort, said they donate change tossed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. I wonder if those who toss large denominations had a Wish granted by the Foundation?

“In Disney “. Please call it Disneyland, or Magic Kingdom. Etc. It is not called ” Disney”.

    1. Getting a little picky, aren’t you, Karen?

Maybe it was in memory of someone. The other commenter mentioned Make a Wish.
So I wouldn’t be surprised if it was someone who had a wish done or the family member of one.
Not that I can afford to go to Disneyland or even really want to with my fibromyalgia.
But if I did & could afford it I’d toss a hundred too.
Then I’d sit nearby & watch to see people’s reactions.
Or maybe I’d toss in a 100 $1 coins as a pile of treasure.

It’s for charity so why not when we spend thousands getting there and then a lot more in parks what’s a few hundred more
