My husband and I have always referred to Disney as the stroller capitol of the United States. The contraptions are often big and unwieldy, many times being “driven” by a child. Adult “drivers”use them as battering rams, with their own child inside. When I have been struck, instead of an apology I get ” Disney is here for children”. Disney is here for anyone with money to spend. The strollers that Disney rents are no better. It’s about time that they be banned in favor of simpler strollers that cannot be used in this manner.

I knew before I ever even read the article that the person crying about being hit by the stroller was black. They will whine about absolutely anything, especially when a white person is involved!!!

      1. Debra B

I cannot tolerate or stand racism of any kind. It is not right when spoken against black people. We do need to continue to work hard to make our country a more just place to live. But, I am equally disgusted with people who are showing hate talk to people just because they are white. It is not okay. Knock it off. Enough already. Being white in and of itself does not make a person automatically guilty of any crime, anymore than any skin color. We should, all people of all colors treat each other fairly. Individuals who are angry and want justice are not going about it the right way when they choose to vilify white people in general. And for a white reporter to use the word”Karen” to describe another white person behaving badly, is like lighting a match to racial issues that are ongoing already. Such a person in my opinion is behaving stupidly and should not think that racial banter against white people or any people when they behave badly or not is justifiable, because it is not. And for that matter has anyone ever had a stroller or shopping cart accidentally rammed or bumped into the back of their ankles? I have had it happen to me. Sure people should watch where they are going and be considerate. But accidents do happen. They happen to all people by various people. We should not automatically assume this person did it on purpose. And for your information, “John” it is not just like any white person to do that. I’m glad I know people who are not rude and prejudice like you are to assume such a thing. I’m white and I would never do that on purpose. I try to show respect for all people, opening doors for others and such. To me Martin Luther King Jr was a real hero and so was Abraham Lincoln. Dr King spoke of having a Dream for us to be all together. Not demanding payment for past wrongs and hatred against whites making all pay for what some even many have done, but not all of us. It’s time to stop the hatred that only serves to tear us apart not bring us together. As a child I was ridiculed and mistreated by some other children, because I had curly red hair and looked different. I realize now as painful as that was for me, revenge is not the answer. Two wrongs never make it right. It is Love that is the true equalizer, not hate. That’s something to think about.

        1. Nlc

Well, the victim DID call them a “white Karen.” That’s when I knew the victim was black. Although I don’t like or use the term “Karen”, I see no point in using a color adjective to describe them.

Disney needs to ban the overly large gigantic strollers. You know the ones that look like they will be pulled by a horse.

I understand the need for strollers. We have used them for the last 5 years for our child. But if you can carry your entire life and two children in a stroller it’s too big.

    1. Disney needs to keep raising prices just to see how long these idiots will keep going.

      1. M

Has a frequent park visitor and parent of a child who requires a push chair.
This was probably unavoidable if they were going down a incline and the bimbo stopped in front of her. Leaving almost no time for the person driving the stroller to react. I have personally been hit and knocked over by someone else’s stroller. It’s honestly nothing to fight about.

        1. Nancy

Not only strollers but people riding the carts. Banging into your heels, yelling that they are trying to get through and you are too slow. They think they are owed something because they are in a battery operated cart and have privileges. Painful and annoying

          1. Nlc

I use an ECV at Disney and never do that or think that. I drive slowly and I’m cautious. But that doesn’t stop the idiots that walk out right in front of me and STOP. I am always being cut off and have had idiots walking backwards fall on top of me. One landed in my lap and almost knocked me off. Don’t lump all of us together with the drivers that don’t know what their doing and don’t care.

          2. Susan Hester

I must use an ECV now that I have 2 cancers. I look healthy on the outside but I’m quite sick on the inside. I’ve sat with a group of ECV users and all of us do not set out to hit walkers, children or strollers. ECV’s don’t have brakes – they stop by letting off the forward motion. They will roll for another 1/2 foot. People never look before they move right or left or just stop. I will hit them unintentionally under those circumstances. I just got back from WDW and had several people hit me or run into me. I was yelled at every time. Only one person acknowledged that he didn’t look but still expected me to avoid him. Not possible. I’m proud to say I didn’t hit any one this trip or any other trip. My best friend also rides a scooter now. She had to have a total knee replacement after being mowed over by a mom and her giant stroller causing my friend to fall on the ground rather than on top of the woman’s stroller and likely injuring her children. I want to put a flag on my scooter next time so maybe i can be seen better.

      2. Glubber

I made a point to my son, we wouldn’t go to Disneyland until he could do all his own walking.
WHY take a baby or young child who isn’t going to remember. No younger than seven, I say.

    2. Bubba

      Spot on

    3. Mark

They supposedly did back in 2019, they must not be enforcing it.

  3. Byron

It is interesting that the person with the stroller was described as ” a white karen”. The woman must have considered the person’s race as being important.

    1. Renee

Sure did. Was right after a parade and the woman rammed her stroller into my feet then deliberately ran over them. When I asked her what the heck she was doing she told me that it was easier for her than to go around me

      1. Simone

Let me guess, you’re a black Karen..

      2. Anon

Why you gotta put “white” in front of Karen. Instant loss of respect from a lot of viewers.

      3. Babsd

I’ll take Things That NEVER Happened for $500, Alex.

    2. BabsD

I’d rather be the Karen, thrn the Racist calling out race in this situation. Liberals are such closeted racists

      1. Tim

Some of the smartest voices that I have heard responding to these things in a long time. Can’t agree more. Race??? Really??
I agree, I’ll either take never happened or over embellished for 500.
And….for someone of such self importance to have so many tic tok videos and followers to NOT have any of this so called “fight” recorded???? Wow that screams bs to anyone with half a brain.

      2. Yee

Sadly, from the mask morons who refused to wear during height of Covid, we know usually the loudest jerk in the place is usually the republic*nt, no matter skin color. You all, en masse, showed your true colors during Covid. Every video shot, it was the R, being the jerk every time.

    3. Ed

Calling her a white Karen is a racist statement. These type of articles only serve to divide people and to cause trouble. Shame on the person writing this article.

  4. Karla

Yes, too many times & when they can easily go around & not in line. I especially dislike or loath the ones that do it multiple times.
I turned around once after already saying something the 2nd time a woman ran into me. They tired to claim language barrier but fully understood that I would take the stroller & ram it into them if they hit us again with it.

It hurts & can cause a person to fall forward. Most of them do not even bother to say sorry nor are one bit concerned with them assaulting you with them. Like it is okay to ram into people simply because it is a stroller.

    1. Love the fact that you have been hit ” to many times” I go to Disney & I get hit ro many times by strollers. Kind of like Charlie Brown continues to get ro many Rocks for Halloween 🤣

  5. Mellie

I’ve been bashed in the ankles by strollers and mobility scooters. I’ve had my feet run over by both also. I hate the huge quad strollers, which on multiple occasions have used for two or less children and all their necessary “stuff.” I call those SUV strollers. On one trip, I saw a quad stroller with one child in it, two huge stuffed animals, two large diaper bags, multiple bags of purchased merchandise, cup holders filled with sippy cups, and there was a folded collapsible stroller hanging on one of the stroller handles – basically a “short hop” transport. The two parents & child looked like they were getting ready to head out on a month long vacation in an RV with a tow vehicle instead of a day at Disneyland. And yes, the mother of the child was so busy looking at her phone (and this was years before Genie+) that she bashed into me, my sister, and multiple others. Large strollers should be banned.

    1. Love the fact that you have been hit ” to many times” I go to Disney & I get hit ro many times by strollers. Kind of like Charlie Brown continues to get ro many Rocks for Halloween 🤣

    2. Becky

Disney world and Disney land needs to make a rule where no over size strollers are allowed in the parks only ones they should invest in are their strollers which come in certain sizes. I don’t want to see anymore big oversize strollers in Disney world no longer after my experience last week but I handled my situation lol.

  6. Cj

    I get hit alot
Worst time was creeping down main street after fireworks. Lady just kept hitting me like i could go faster. after a few requests for her to stop it. I let her go ahead of me. Then I rode her back and stomped on her heals to make sure she understood. Petty I know. But I bet she was much more courteous after that

    1. Cj ur not petty. Ur a moron. I can’t seem to get out of the way of all the strollers. Loser

      1. GarbageJuicer

“White Karen” from someone who is white AF. Pot calling the kettle black.

  7. David

How is it acceptable to call someone a “white Karen”? This is rotally a racist comment.

  8. Hey Dave. Get a life u piece of crap. Talking racist stuff on a Disney site. As bad as me ripping u losers

  9. Ken

So now she was struck by “huge white Karen.” Weekday if I said huge black Karen”? Would that be OK? Reverse racism is OK? The Karen was a jersey. Why are we labeling this in this way?

    1. Paula

There is NO such thing as “reverse” racism! It’s just plain racism no matter what race a person is. People of ANY race, even black people, can be racist! No one race holds the corner or ownership of being racist.
And yes, saying, “a huge white Karen” is a racist comment. Just try to replace the word “white” with “black” and watch the derogatory comments against white people come out. People of all races should just stop with the racist comments.

  10. Cynthia

You lost me at “white Karen”. 😡

    1. Paula

      Same.

  11. Doug

Yep, had a woman run a baby stroller up over the back of my ankle at Epcot last month while I was walking and maintaining a steady pace. Yes, she was on a cellphone. And yes, there was a child in the stroller. Unfortunately for the kid, I’m a big guy so I’m pretty sure my ankle lifted that stroller a bit into the air when it caught the back of my shoe. I looked back at the woman with a “WTF?!?” look, and she looked at me like I had just attempted a life threatening assault on her child. I know crazy, stupid, and entitled when I see it so I shrugged it off while she rolled that stroller off to the side to check on her kid. Poor kid is setup for failure on learning to be a decent human, and can’t do anything about it…

    1. Paula

      💯 %!

  12. MrBob

“…it takes some of the fun and pixie dust away from a Disney vacation.”
Disney has already done that I over the last few years.

    1. Harley

Maybe someone could monitor the comments and ban the person using the name AngryBastard?

      1. Wayne

Agree with you.. He Is angry and trying to make others angry. Remove him please.

        1. Tim

Yep. Cancel and ban everyone who has a make believe screen name that we don’t like. We should ban professional wrestling too. Ban all fake things. #cancelstuff

  13. I was hit by a motorized scooter which broke 3 bones in my ankle. I needed surgery after returning home Seven weeks in a cast non weight bearing. The driver never even stopped. Not a fun week for me but my grandchildren loved it

  14. M

I noticed the wagon trains were back last week.
They carried coolers, giant stuffed backpacks snd today’s purchases > everything but kids.
I thought wagons were off the approved list.

    1. Edward

They were banned until a folding version was invented. Also have you ever tried riding in a Disney bus(standing) at a resort which has multiple stops???? Ouch times ten!!!

  16. Rusty

I noticed the wagon trains were back last week.

I thought wagons were off the approved list. 🤷🏼‍♀️

  17. With the way people have become & the outrageous prices, I have NO desire to go anywhere near Orlando!

    1. Tim

Uuhh…ok…this was at Disneyland CA. But what the hell’s 2400 miles or so between people that don’t read before they comment.

  18. I was never hit with a stroller. But, I was staying at The Fort Wilderness Campgrounds in a log cabin. I didn’t realize that our outdoor light was out. After a night a Pleasure Island I took a tumble down 4 steps! My legs were scrapped and scratched. I felt no pain! My girlfriend decided to call and complain about the light. They wanted to know if anyone was hurt. I was waiving my hands ” NO” but, of course she said yes. We were given a free golf cart to use. We had a car come take us to a Princess brunch. I had a lovely gift basket awaiting me. I also received a call when I got home.

  19. Donald Loyd

Why is she a Karen for being run over by an inattentive adult? Seems the Karen would be the entitled parent pushing the stroller believing everyone should move out of their way. So why is it these parents need to bring a 3 mo old baby to Disney is beyond me. Sorry but after my visit a few weeks ago the Disney magic is no more.
Overcrowded broken down or closed rides food portions 1/2 what they were and not nearly as tasty, two hour lines ect. I won’t be returning for our yearly visit.

    1. Tim

      Stupid is as stupid does…..

      1. Tee

Moron is as moron says. Idiotic comment.

    2. Tee

I agree with you. Everyone else can go for higher prices and less amenities and huge crowds, I refuse. As for food, since I can only be in parks for a few hours, we can get better food outside the park, or in our RV, easily. Will see what happens after their big 50th BS. People are all coming fir the hoopla, planned to go for years before this. I think the year after will be a ghost town, and things will go back to normal (a bit). They will need to compete again, and the madness will lessen. I hope!

  20. Sherree

I’ve both pushed a big stroller and been run into by one. Never heard or said anything but
” omg, I’m so sorry” or ” it’s alright, I’m ok”. Guess it’s just the attitude of people today. So sad!!

  21. Lynne

I was at Disney world and was trying to leave the park and a lady ran over my foot with a stroller and it really hurt .I did not yell at her but said to my boyfriend that lady ran over my foot with a stroller and she apologized
and i said that was okay and I went on my way.

    1. Tee

Love this. I drive a d own my own little s outer, which I am careful of. I never go unless the park is almost empty (every other year Feb or March. I will not waste my $ when it is like this and the benefits of going with prices are so low. Much easier for me to hurt others when busy. Thanks for being kind! Most of us like that. I noticed the stroller pushers, the ones who do not check on you, in the few videos I saw, appear to be the anti-masker, they do not care about others, so not vaxxed, prolly. SHEESH!

  22. Ken

I’ll just mention that on a trip to the Disneyland Resort in California I chanced to be kind to a cast member and a family trying to figure out how to get everyone in the picture they wanted to take. (Told them to give me the camera and I’d take the shot.) The cast member saw me help the family and the reward for my kindness that day was an Honorary Citizen of Disneyland pin. You cannot buy them (in the parks but maybe on eBay.) You can only get one from a cast member.

It pays to be kind in the parks.

    1. Tee

Great job! You see the vid of the guest help the employee to ckear a clogged rainwater drain in the park? He should have gotten one, too! Yay for both! Very rare item!

  23. Not reading Yourtrashagain

Using the racist term “Karen” and going further to explain the person was white (as though that has relevance to the story) is just pitiful. Y’all should learn to do better than to write this sort of drivel.

    1. Tee

It was in quotes, was it not used by the person that was hit? It appeared to be a quote, but an unnecessary one. I could not play vid, my phone was being a butt head, that is why I ask.

  24. Tim

Pics or video or it never happened. I call bs.
Sites should stop publishing fakebelieve stories.
    #bsfakebelievestory

  25. Ann

The person pushing the stroller was probably looking at their Disney phone APP looking for a Lightning Lane opportunity.
    I hate Genie+
It’s distracting from your family and what’s going on around you.
Instead of enjoying the park and your family, you’re stuck looking at your phone APP all day.

  26. John

As soon as you read that a fight broke out you know 100% that there’s a black woman involved! White people don’t start fights simply because they got bumped by a stroller! Blacks will fight you if you look at them the wrong way! Absolute fact!

  27. Rich Eubanks

I don’t care what ethnicity Karen is. If she’s careless with a dang stroller, I pretend to lose my balance and, while falling, turn the stroller over. Problem solved!

  28. Jessica

Who HASN’T gotten rammed by a stroller before? Those double-wide ones are the worst.

  29. Dee

Maybe it’s a Disneyland issue. The only time I’ve almost been struck by a stroller or scooter at Disney World in FL was at Magic Kingdom. All other parks have plenty of space to move around even on crowded days. I’ve gone 4 years straight at least once a week…lived 30 min away from the closest park and I visited all 4 parks regularly. 🤷🏼

  30. Ashley

The female in the video seems extremely immature. Of course I would apologize for hurting someone, but with three children in the stroller, sometimes inertia takes over. She said she was slowing down to talk to her boyfriend, why not step to the side and let others get through?
These days, people create scenarios for TikToks.
I feel bad for the kids here.

  31. BjB

Stroller incidents aren’t intentional. I’ve been on both sides of the collisions. Just “roll with it” bc is it really worth causing an issue? No, it isn’t, end of story. Take a breath, sincerely apologize, or sincerely understand it was unintentional. Enjoy your vacation and don’t sweat the small things., that’s best for everyone.

  32. Steve

I live the social justice warriors and their long babbling empty ramblings about racism. I hope the woke white people realize how ignorant you sound when desperate for black peoples approval for “defending” them. It isn’t racism, it’s statistics and experience. I have no statistics on black people being demanding and expecting to be pampered if they spend a few dollars. Spending money for a theme park is a big deal for them and they think it’s high class. Like all the ones at Red Lobster who think they are at a fine seafood restaurant. Overall, they are uncivil, uneducated, insecure, and coat taxpayers well beyond their share of the population because of laziness, lack of skis or basic English speaking abilities, and the cause of so much crime, welfare, and just a burden on society. Everything I said is true. Show me statistics that prove me wrong. Real facts.

  33. Deb

Why can I never find the video in these posts? It says see below video and I can never find it! So many ads and such… help a 50 year old momma out and clean up the clutter in these articles!

  34. Cat

Flags do help. I added one, people still cut me off,but alot less.
