I agree, this should be put over at Pixar Pier, it doesn’t fit Tomorrowland theme at all.

I also agree that Tomorrowland needs to be overhauled. Nothing about it really feels like the future anymore. Start by removing Autopia, that takes up a large section of the park that could be better used. Will have to re-route part of the monorail, but could make a huge dark attraction in that area, something like Tron or some other attraction that is more future focused. Also get rid of the Finding Nemo/Submarine ride.

I’ve been saying this for 30 years. Despite the submarines being one of my absolute favorites as a child, they’re hardly futuristic. And the friggin’ cars running on petroleum are just the worst part of the entire park.

    2. Agreed. Tomorrowland should be about the future. A trip to Mars colony or beyond is in our future. The local Pixar stage looks so out of place there.

I agree with you, it definitely belongs in Pixar Pier and not Tomorrowland. And yes Tomorrowland has its problems, but it’s mostly not sticking to a themeing for the area. A look at the fantastical future as a theme would basically encompass what Tomorrowland was. Just stick with it and lean into it some. Vs always trying to capture the future and then capture whatever IP they can fit into the area. It’s a crap show of their own making.

Remove Autopia?! The wonder and joy I remember “driving” those cars as a child is priceless. I watched my little brothers experience that same joy when they came along. And then my seeing that same wonder and joy on my daughter’s face? I hope one day (in the far future) to take my grandchildren there and let them experience the magic of Autopia too – well, assuming we can afford to even park or get in the gate at that point

Choking on noxious fumes the entire time…at least make them electric and let the kid learn about our electric future.

Why is it out of place? Why should I have to buy a park hopper or extra day ticket just to see Pixar themes only in DCA. Should Mickey only appear in Magic Kingdom?

Actually with the Buzz Astro Blaster and Finding Nemo this is by default the Pixar area of the Park. What needs to move is Star Tours to the Star Ward Area. And Autotopia is I Knox but maybe the cars etc need a refresh. The Carousel need to be refurbished and the people mover just adding in new attractions would be great along with moving Star Tours

I agree that it seems really out of place within the Tomorrowland themed area.. a good compromise for those who want Pixar vibes in Disneyland would have been to hold this in the fantasyland theater thats right outside of toontown.. it’s literally just sitting there gathering dust right now anyway. Blast away with Pixar music and let the kids get rowdy. Having this right within the galactic grill just made it not enjoyable for anyone who usually goes there to take a break from all of the noise and crowds elsewhere.

It sure does look out of place. Belongs in Fantasyland Theatre. Or in the one right next to the train in Toon Town. NOT in Tomorrowland

I feel like this site purposefully goes out of it’s way to find things to complain about in Disney. I have not read one positive article coming from this site in a long, long time.

That’s funny because I just spoke with a coworker today who just got back from a large family (20 people in their group) trip to WDW this week and he said they all had a great time. He said Genie+ took a bit to get used to but after the first day he figured it out and said it too was great. 6 families is an infintessimally small drop in the bucket of people who go to Disney parks worldwide much like my coworkers party of 20. I still stand by my original point. Looking at the needle is a haystack complaints this site brings up it makes them look like they are purposefully scouring Twitter and Tik Tok trying to make controversies where there are none.

I agree with you the negative comments get all the attention on this website. If Disney is so awful or going down hill how come it is booked up everyday ? So that means that 99.9 % of the people are happy and then you have the 0.1% that complain about everything.

Agree, that set up does not belong in Tomorrowland, but since there really isn’t a “True” Tomorrowland any longer, what difference does it make?
The entire area needs to be reimagined. Electric Autopias would be a good start. A People Mover 2.0, possibly electric too, would be a welcome site. It’s not just the ride, it’s the image of the cars moving around as well that gives the area ambiance.
And Carousel of Progress building could use an actual attraction, not the mess that’s been there the past 10 years…

Personally, I love Tomorrowland the way that it is. I understand the argument that it is outdated, and no longer the vision of what lies ahead. I do agree that some parts of it need some new life. Walt Disney did imagine the future. But he was also a champion of nostalgia. I think it is an important perspective, to remember what was once imagined for our future. I wouldn’t want to see Tomorrowland become too modernized, as we are surrounded by modern technology everyday. Disneyland is about escape, fantasy, and nostalgia. I don’t want to see Tomorrowland become too real. I love the Nemo ride. It is so sweet and fun, and unlike any other ride in the park. Moving Star Tours to Star Wars Land…… No thank you. It belongs right where it is.

Who cares? Disney is aimed at children and families with children… So let the kids have something. Geez. Stop acting like this is universal and get it through your head that Disney isn’t mean for adults. Like, sure, kids at heart is fine but get over yourselves getting mad at an attraction aimed at kids

I remember when this first popped up several years ago. My then 9 or 10 yr old granddaughter Loved it. We both went out to dance with the characters and all the other children and families who were there dancing or just watching looked happy too. Remember “Buz Lighyear” if Somewhat FUTURISTIC & Music is Always Fun. That’s what Disneyland is all about. Children having FUN 🥳👏🏼🎉🥳👏🏼🎉🥳👏🏼🎉

Dancing along and having Fun In DISNEYLAND 🥳👏🏼🎉🥳👏🏼🎉🥳👏🏼🎉

Why would you classify them as “fans”? They sound more like haters.
