Masks were never more than political theatre and accomplished absolutely nothing. Wearing a mask to prevent a virus is equivalent to installing a chain link fence to keep mosquitos out, it did nothing.

    1. Heck yeah

You just took those words out of my mouth!

    2. M

Absolutely agree, I’m familiar with that chain link theory!

  6. Christi

Then stay home if you feel unsafe breathing fresh air.

    1. Douglas

I’m right there with you buddy

Absolutely 100% agree! Very sad, how this has messed up some people, but if you feel so unsafe please stay home! You have that choice if you’re so terrified! Don’t make others who feel otherwise and want to move on with their lives feel like they’re the bad guys! Look to the tyrants, the real culprits, who imposed these lies and destruction on our country!

  7. I have a solution. If you are not comfortable with it, then don’t go? Just a thought.

Masks are not needed anymore at Disney World. I saw very few people wearing them during my visit this week.

The nonsense is finally over. I suggest you stay home if you are afraid of being struck by lightning on a clear day.

  10. Liz

If you feel unsafe because people enjoy breathing fresh air, stay home. This is how it should have always been. Masks do nothing other than ruin your experience.

It cracks me up that someone would go to a place that sees 57,000 ish people a day, and then worry about anything virus related. Do they know how many people 57,000 is? That’s insane. Per day! That’s like going in the ocean and worrying about sharks. They’re there, they exist. Crowded places are petri dishes for illness, pandemic or not. We got norovirus one time at Disney. No fun! But that’s the risk. Contrary to what media tells you, you can get illnesses other ways than someone not wearing a mask. If someone is THAT worried, or actually experiencing fear, perhaps a crowded theme park is not the right vacation for them. People are so funny sometimes SMH! I swear this pandemic has created a bunch of people that were just looking for an excuse to boss complete strangers around. I’m the “mind your business” generation lol!

You can definitely tell which way this author leans. The only comments mentioned were ones that said “they’re not *even* wearing masks anymore.”
Anyone who still wears a mask deserves the stares. Those stares are from people who are silently saying ‘why are you still so brainwashed?’
It’s good to see and read that the majority finally realize that this political theatre from the last two years is finally over, despite what some of us have been saying since a few months into ‘15 days to slow the spread’.
Wake up people. The Great Reset is still being pushed and with more people awake, their desperation is going to be come even more obvious.

If you’re scared, feel free to stay home the rest of your life if you choose. No one is forcing you to go to the parks.

  14. As a nurse, I am really disappointed that people think Covid is ‘over.’ It’s not, although the numbers have improved. The New York Times reported as of March 13, 2022, nationwide daily:
    Cases: 34,232
    Hospitalizations: 29,177
    ICU patients w/ Covid: 5251
    Deaths: 1291
Does this sound like it’s over? Doubt the numbers? Look it up.
No one wants to wear a mask, especially in the Florida heat. But if you haven’t been vaccinated, don’t you feel any responsibility toward those who CAN’T be vaccinated? Little kids? Immunocompromised people? Disney is going by the Honor System by assuming that those who have not been vaccinated will wear a mask: obviously, they still believe in fairy tales. Anti-vaxxers are almost always anti-maskers as well. Masks don’t work? My husband and I have been in public, masked, and using hand sanitizer. Neither of us has gotten Covid. No, it’s not 100%, but it helps. We’re going to WDW in September and we’ll be wearing masks when we are in elbow to elbow crowds, and if you don’t like it, you can kiss my Covid-free butt. Better yet, just keep your mouth SHUT.
