This site is full of hatred for the American Indians. This site hates the fact that Disney is honoring the Indians with songs and statues.

    1. Stacee

I agree with you… these people need to get a life. If you don’t like it, don’t go! When you people completely erase all forms of anything Native American from our society you’ll be happy but your children and grandchildren won’t know who they were because you idiots are going to have them scrubbed from history altogether! Public school teachers have such a woke agenda… that’s what what sick sickens me!

      1. Patti

Yes! STOP the madness! Disney did fine for decades before the woke generation came around. Pretty sure these ridiculously over-sensitive people just enjoy hearing themselves complain. I don’t ever recall going to Disney or going to Disney movies in years past with anyone whining over racism. This is relatively new and quite frankly, totally miserable. Let’s just cancel it ALL. Eventually every last detail will be picked apart. Why not just shutter the doors forever and stop making movies? Think THAT would make these crazy whiners happy?

        1. Mike

This is the new demon possessed demoncrats agenda.

      2. Shannon

People are looking for anything they can play victim to. Grow up folks. Disney is about happiness and fantasies. Stop nit picking it apart just because of your own miserable lives.

    2. JK

Totally agree! Maybe they should develop their own theme park and all these people saying everything they see is racist can go there

    3. Frank

Keep the Indians and get rid of the woke idiot who wrote this article. He obviously has no sense of history.

  2. RRegalado

I’m Native American and of this woke erasure of history good or bad , wether you like it or not is still history and is what has happened, the worse are society can do is erase it like it never happened instead of coming together and understanding it from all sides and from the thinking and points of views of the time period that these images were made instead of trying to criticize and critique it with modern thinking. History has shown us many times if you erase your past then we are doomed to repeat it in our future. The cigar Indian is not offensive on the contrary I’m 51 years old and have always loved that iconic statue since I just 5 years old when I remember the first time seeing it, I wanted one so bad growing up because it made me proud of my heritage seeing this statue of this proud Indian warrior dressed in his native clothing and chiseled face and eyes of a hawk , in no way was he made to look demeaning , instead he stands proud and tall with his head held high, in fact a proud representation of a indigenous American. If Disney want to get rid of it I would gladly take from them and proudly display it in my home , it would be an honor.

Thank you for being the voice of reason here.

But the newest generations want to pretend history doesn’t exist and that everything is “offensive” and/or “racist”. They have no idea what those words really mean, they are just sheeple parroting what they hear on FB, Twitter and TikTok.

      1. Kelly

I agree totally!! They are brainwashed by liberal colleges, media & propaganda to believe things that are offensive and need to be removed! I’m so sick of this! It’s like a generation of little babies that keep throwing fits when they can’t have their way!! This all started after they made it hard to discipline and keep children in line and schools and society got to involved in every one else’s business!!

      2. Bob

Just STOP with every flippin thing being “racist” or “hurtful”. Let’s just ERASE all of American history. It just makes me sick how the American public are all such whiners anymore. Just shut up and get a life.

    2. Stacee

You are the only person here that I have read who truly understands the significance of this piece of history… I am sure Walt himself would not understand our woke culture today. I believe my Savior forgives all of my sins but the fact remains I did commit them… I try to do better and go on. I think Walt wanted children of today (modern times) to see what you might see on a Main St. where he grew up. It was a statue of a Native American, a piece of art, a thing of beauty. He was not a racist. He knew that was something children of our age would not get to see on a contemporary city or town street. I love it. I think it is beautiful. I admire you for your courage to speak up. Our history does have good and bad in it… I think if we can all accept that premise we can all learn to get along better.

      1. CB

TOTALLY AGREE! My husband and children are part Native American and are not offended by the statue, nor were they offended by the school performance! And we are DEFINITELY NOT OFFENDED by Peter Pan! My daughters constantly watched both Peter Pan movies from when they were little. Now at 17 and 12, they appreciate seeing the statues and historically correct shows and stories. We are so sick of the new WOKE generation and wish Disney would stand up and leave the parks the way Walt Disney imagined it, instead of trying to change every little thing that “offends” someone! If you don’t like it, don’t go! I am offended by the Disney Company changing everything because someone doesn’t like it! I also think there was NO reason for Disney to even be involved in or say anything about the FL parental right bill! There is nothing offensive about it, and Disney should stay out of politics and concentrate on entertainment and making Disney the way it was meant to be. With the return of their “white glove” service and family fun experience!

    3. Ginger Foreman

Thank you for your comments. I couldn’t have said it any better. What has happened is in the past and no matter how hard you try you can’t erase history. But all this is history. What people need to do is look to the future because that can still be worked on.

      1. Stan

        Well said 👍

    4. Pm

Insanity! If people are offended, THEN DON’T GO! Disney World is PRIVATE PROPERTY. Their rules. The Magic Kingdom is a fantasyland. You can’t change Peter Pan just because you dislike the portrayal of Indians in the story. Get a life and start praying to God.

    5. Robert Kirker

This site should change it’s name to Inside the Wokeness. The articles get more and more liberal left leaning with every post.
In the article it says most fans are offended by the Indian imagery and dancing, more like a few white Karens virtue signaling for a group of people they know nothing about.
I wish Disney would grow some balls and stop letting these small and obnoxiously loud groups determine the direction of the parks.

  3. tamra

Ask the Native Americans what they think is racist. I think people yelling ‘racism’ to remove any image that is Native American is shameful. I want to see the original people of this nation everywhere, remind everyone who was here first and this land’s missing history. However, any image of Native Americans dressed in traditional or ceremonial regalia offends some people. Indigenous dances and ceremonies are still celebrated throughout the country today, Native Americans honor their traditional dress, all Americans should as well.

  4. Kevin

Here come the Non-Native American SJW’s to the rescue!!!!! Acting like they think they know what’s best for everyone else in society. Just because they find something “offensive” doesn’t mean it is. BTW, Nice language by the Twit in her tweet about the cigar store Indian. Now that IS actually offensive.

    1. William Turner

Totally agree. The language used is unnecessary and should not appear in a Disney related post. Very disappointed that ITM would allow it while promoting the removal of an innocuous statue.

  5. Raymond Winiecki

Being part native none of this offends me. What offends me is the sad ignorance of the new generation. they have no clue what real racism is!

    1. ROGER D STEVENS

Well said and you are correct. Racism is used for profit not cause these days.

  6. ROGER D STEVENS

CRYBABBIES.com for all these groups whinning. My Great Grand Father was a full blooded Native American, he would of been saying all these crybabies need to shut the Hell up. You are complaining for your own cause not the people you pretend to represent. This crap is getting out of hand. Talk about teaching your kids to get along. Geezzz!

  7. Mason

Does the Twitter mob think all Native Americans are like the woman in the Seinfeld episode the cigar store Indian?

  8. Mike G

Leave Jimberly alone. There is nothing wrong with him or his cousin in Frointer Land. Society has become softer than fresh dog crap. Things don’t need to be changed just because a very small minority gets offended over everything

  9. Mickeymouse3

OMG people! Give it a rest already. If you look hard enough, everything can be racist, sexist or just plain offensive. Don’t like it, move to something different. There are other who might like it.

  10. Chris

Lifes need to be gotten here.

  11. Woody Woodal

Before I even looked her up I knew the tweeter was a fat chick. I bet she’s offended by at least one thing a day.. probably two or three on a good day. If we’re going to go down this route get rid of Woody! I don’t ride a horse, wear a cowboy hat or just act like a dum dum in general.

  12. Hiseu Myers

The world says if you forget the past you are doomed to repeat it. How’s,that working for everyone? Dwelling on the past?! Hmm?! Yahweh says let go of the past, look ahead to the future. We can never moce forward if we are constantly looking back. I trust HIS,word over this world EVERY time seeing that is how He created it to be.
    Old Testament example:
Isaiah 43:18-19 (KJV) Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
    New Testament example:
Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Even if you don’t believe in God, how has hanging onto the past worked in YOUR life? If we NEVER let go and forget who we used to be we will NEVER become knew. That old outdated way of thinking is no more! It is time everyone catch up. People are now thinking for rhemselves instead of being constantly brainwashed and told what to think. Y’all want to stay in that place, FINE! But don’t expect the rest of us to follow. I am SO GRATEFUL that I am a part of the generation who stopped being brainwashed and proud of the newer generations standing up to this barbaric and archaic way of thinking! We are changing the world!!! Praise Jesus! It is past time!

Also…It is about time Disney is held accountable for their disgusting behaviors and practices! They have gotten away with far too much far too long!!!

    1. Hiseu Myers

Sorry about the typos. I never said I was, good at texting. Lol

    2. Robyn

Do you realize how brainwashed you sound? Smh.

  13. Rick

These ‘woke’ people fall into the genre of ‘The Perpetually Offended’!

  14. Joseph

To all the people that commented on this article, THANK YOU. I was about to give up on humanity while reading this absurd article, until i read the comments. I assumed all the comments were going to be all the woke people agreeing to this nonsense. Im so happy I was wrong. Keep speaking out against this cancel culture b.s. any chance you get. Show everyone that this is not the way eveybody feels. 👍🏽👍🏽

  15. DPearce

Whats wrong with an Cigar Store Indian? After all, the Indigenous indians did grow tobacco. Ever hear of a peace pipe? This author with her profane speech is offensive to those who liked songs like Zippity do dah, zippety day, my oh my what a wonderful day…from Song of the South. Thoroughly loved the characters & I’m sure the actors/singers were proud of their work. Its too bad this author and her “woke” friends see everything through a racist lense. What a sad, petulent, spoiler of a person you are.

  16. Gantiz

This content is sick. My looking to remove anything that could be remotely “offensive” or even represent people who aren’t white in any negative way is ensuring the erasure of those people and cultures.

The destruction of and emphasis on things that can be used to divide us is sickening and evil

  17. Cash

    I was with you Joseph

    1. Johnson

Cry and whine about the least important things. Nobody cares…just don’t go there. Stay home and tweet and be soft

  18. Michelle

I say just shut it all down. Have nothing when it comes to cultures. Give all of them what they want like Disney has been doing. No one will want to go anymore. Universal hopefully will be the place to go

  19. Jerome Tucker

I totally think this cancel and woke culture is going way too far… you should learn from your past not erase it all of the time… it is becoming a situation where they are nitpicking now and it’s so annoying.

  20. EC

I find it amusing that this site seems to indicate that the entire Disney population is a woke mob, yet all the comments I read are from conservative minded people. Can’t trust the media.

  21. Donna

Seriously how long has this park been open? 50 years? This is just the latest bandwagon and really negative and petty just for attention.
