This is absolutely sickening. Why would any company cater to 1%, or less, of the population when they know good and well they would always prosper from traditional families, which IS the majority of their revenue. Everything Disney has been destroyed for for us and many others. Why don’t they consider inclusiveness for us traditional Christian, or any other religion, type families? I ask that because all they want is for us to accept the gay community, but, in turn they really don’t want to accept us. Else they would not push that agenda so hard trying to turn the world into a bunch of fags. Yes, this is very upsetting. Personally, I don’t care if anyone is gay, that is their choice, but they need to do their thing and stop trying to make themselves feel better about it by pushing it on everyone else for acceptance. Most people don’t care and don’t want to see it. If they feel that lifestyle is right, well, there’s an old saying…you eat crackers in your bed you will sleep in the crumbs. If you’re gay and/or support it, keep your crackers in your own bed, the rest of the world does not want to sleep in your crumbs. Accept your own choices and lifestyle and don’t involve everyone else. We don’t care and we don’t need to see it.

Wow, you really are delusional aren’t you? I’m so glad the world is slowly denouncing Christianity. No matter how hard you try to hold on, you will lose. Your bibles will burn, your churches will crumble, and one day the radical Christians will be forced into hiding. Then, perhaps you’ll understand our point of view. You can live in the new world, or you can fade away with the old.

Another 2%er speaks. Always good for a laugh.

Wow, that response was so tolerant and inclusive…

I think the point being made, is that no one is *against* alternate lifestyles, so long as those alternative lifestyles are NOT forced upon others. For example, do straight/hetero groups have “pride parades” where men and women dress in revealing clothes, simulate sex in public, and try to force toddlers to masturbate or engage in “kinky” sex? No, that never happens. Ever. So why do the “alternative lifestyle” groups have to do it? I don’t care what anyone does or loves, or expresses that love. Do you. Fine. Just don’t force me to accept it or watch it, or my kids to accept it or watch it. THAT is Tolerance.

          Awesome response FL-Dad. Thank you.

You guys are crazy people. It’s all about accepting people for who they are. No one is pushing gayness on anyone. Open your eyes, people are different around the world. Shocker. We are all human and want to be happy. Don’t hate. No one is asking you to be gay or asking you children to be gay. There is room for everyone one this planet. You guys obviously think being gay is wrong, and that is why they are trying to educate people. Being gay is not a choice and it is not wrong. It is equivalent to thinking black people are not equal. I know they say this is “woke” culture but you you people are the ones teaching hate and exclusion. Just be a moral human being whether you like boys or girls. Treat each other with kindness and respect for who people are. No one is forcing you or your family to be gay or be involved in anything that immoral. I guess that would be the question to you, is being gay immoral? If you think yes, then that is the whole point of this and why it is front and center. Also, what Disney parade have you you seen that had kinky stuff in it? I think you are watching the wrong things.

Thats definitely the Disney message– “Burn the Bibles (and all the Christians too!)!” The new way to live is in our own Disney-provided echo chamber, where the only voices we hear are our own, supporting and agreeing with ourselves, so no one can tell us we are wrong, and there is no conscience or conviction!

    3. Sandy

I agree completely. I am so sick of the people running/ruining Walt’s dream for us.
If that is how some people want to live there lives, do it. It doesn’t mean the rest of us have to go along with it.
Disney has no right to be sayin to our kids that this is the correct way of life!
GOD says what the correct way of life should be!
The idiots who shouldn’t be running Walt’s company, but who unfortunately are, obviously don’t care a thing of how Walt ran his company.
It seems like they are more concerned about this gay movement than running Walt’s company the way Walt ran his company.
Chapek and associates need to leave and join their love of the gays.
It has NOTHING to do with Disney.
You are not smarter than Walt!

Times are a “changing”. Remember when a race was forced to ride in the back of a bus, sit in the back of a restaurant? If you don’t like that you’ll have to find a island and move there.

      1. Black

I wish Gay people stop trying to use the black race past struggle as an example for the choices the make in their lives. I was born black, not blue trying to be black, and proudly accept the person god made me. My ancestors were FORCED. The way you choose to live is by CHOICE. I will not use LBGT pain to get what I want, so how about you respecting other people feeling like you want to be respected.

Didn’t Shapiro get banned from WDW for indecent exposure? Seems more convenient to say he “chose” to not go back to WDW.

    1. Sheep-are-Tasty

      Nope

    2. A

      Yeah, sounds about right

Hateful organization backs hateful law, like clockwork.

Typical of Disney! The bill never mentions the word “gay.” And it is simply giving parents of students the peace of mind that their kids will not be taught about gender identity. BTW, it’s only for K-3rd grade. Disney has no business weighing in on this! I will not return to Disney again. They are supposed to be entertainment driven, not indoctrination driven.

  5. Seriously stop already already!

Another piece of crap political ran biased written piece! Anyone else gettting sick of these articles!?! I want to read about Disney, what is happening in the parks, the fact that meet n greets are coming back, the fact new merch is coming out in waves for the 50th! Instead of spewing your hate and political agenda maybe write a real article about happy things in Disney! We’ve read enough about this crap! Sweet girl, ooops “them”, Or “it” (gotta use proper pronouns now, which isn’t proper 🙄)
Oh and by the way it’s not called Don’t say gay bill! 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

  6. I for one am sick of Disney catering to less than 2% of the population. Walt Disney stood for family values, not the direction they have turned. The parks and programming used to be for everybody, now they are only for LBQT+ or the rich. Goodbye Disney. You are including your company into oblivion. Hope you are happy.

Who in the world actually thinks Walt Disney got to his wild success through inclusivity and diversity? Everyone I know who ever enjoyed the broad range of Disney offerings has always only ever liked it bc of the fun, outlandish, magical storytelling. We were never looking for connection, we all wanted a few moments of dreamy fun and a broad DISASSOCIATION from our daily life. The DIS company needs to fire these marketers that are telling the board that the public wants stories that “repesent” them. I dont want representation, I want a dream, suspension of disbelief, and a fun ride. Disney has completely stopped providing that and started catering to those tiny percentages of people who never cared to keep the dream–they just want to spoil the dream for all those kids who enjoyed the dream up to this point.
