A rollback, something a launch coaster is designed to recover from, which it did without a problem, is now being billed as a malfunction?

Is this site ran by some GP Karen?

    1. Ash

Exactly what I was thinking. So the coaster did what the coaster was designed to do? Excellent. Glad to hear it lol

  2. Bob bomhauer

    Yes, yes it has..

  3. Bob cheapric

Ever since this coaster started requiring helmets I stopped trusting it.

    1. Nate

Helmets? Ive tried doing an actual search to see if this was a requirement and could find anything…please clarify

      1. Nate

        *couldn’t find anything

Huh??? They require a helmet to ride?

It’s so much smoother than Hulk…

      1. Rodger

Riding on row 12 actually felt rougher than the hulk to me when I rode it. Maybe wind is more of a factor for that?

I have one thing about this ride, the lap bar, and the feeling I’m going fall out

    3. George

Helmut ??? I was just there did not have a Helmut

This is not a malfunction, it’s normal operation.

    1. Tom

Failing to make it up the hill is not normal operation. It’s a contingency for which they are prepared, but it is not intended to happen. If it were “normal operation”, then it would happen every time.

      1. gmalenko

It’s definitely normal. It’s something that can occur at any time. It’s expected to happen and is accounted for by the designers and the computer. It’s really not a big deal

Terrifying?? I’d pay good money to be on it when it does this!

“Always felt safe” yet somehow also felt terrified. LOL.
Seems lile every reaction is one to get the attention of an attorney for some sort of cash prize.

We were on it 2 weeks ago when it stopped mid-ride. They back the coaster up to help it re-gain the speed it needs to go over these hills. It’s normal. They even announced it. I saw another stupid comments about wearing helmets and that’s not true. You don’t wear helmets to ride.

    1. George

      Right

  8. I am here and been here since Sunday. No one was terrified. I was next in line when passenger got back off. Lottery was like 15mins and it was back up.

  9. Melanie Durham

    Please do

  10. George

I was just there in December I didn’t open my eyes once.

  11. SG

Don’t ride it in the dark, everything’s a blur!
We were there in December, we did the backwards thing too it was awesome! I had my eyes wide open the entire time but the darkness made it hard to see the raptors!
    And yeah, no helmets, geesh!

  12. Nolan

The author way over exaggerated what happened. Especially after reading the original tweet they just didn’t have any coaster knowledge

  13. Kevin Mitchey

Everybody is a freakin baby these days I swear.

  14. Jd

Accelerator at Knott’s does that all the time…

  15. CRAIG EASTOM

Lol..this is completely normal..anyone terrified shouldn’t be riding..im laughing so harfmd i fell off the toilet

    1. CRAIG EASTOM

      *hard

Terrified? There are many coasters where this is actually part of the ride. To me that makes the ride better. Roller coasters are supposed to be scary and make you excited. Shekra at Busch gardens terrifies people all the time. This website is really trying to get people to read their articles by making these titles and descriptions sensationalized. Wow
