First point here is that cedar fair doesnt have 18 parks they only have 12 theme parks. your article then states “that create local theme parks across the globe,”CedarFair only has one park(canada’s wonderland) outside the The United States, globe means worldwide not just north america. Your “Article” also states 13 cedarfair parks which is again wrong.
The only seaworld outside the U.S, is in Abu Dhabi an not even open yet. Thats hardly across the globe…. Six Flags only currently has two operating parks outside the united states 1 in mexico and 1 in canada. They will be openings there only park out side of north america in 2023 in saudi arabia, Not exactly across the globe, half way i guess lol. There where however other parks outside north america owned by six flags long since sold off, but they where not created rather aquired.
You should do some fact checking and editing and atleast a little research your title says 18parks, the article then says “all of the 13 Cedar Fair parks worldwide.” The real number is CedarFair owns Is 12 parks and they are not worldwide!!
Lastly as to your question about Cedarfair erecting more parks, they have only ever built 1 park the flagship cedar point, all others where acquired.
Having worked at both Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens Williamsburg, competition motivates the parks to present better services to sell tickets. Each park has had management turnovers and mixed records of employee relations.
From my experience, both parks overwork and underpay the work force at the heart of customer relations. It’s hard to offer excellent PR on long shifts with no benefits and low hourly wage.
Let the parks compete to improve their operations not just to draw the crowds but to offer a sustainable living to employees.
You are wrong, The article on here is about theme parks not water parks “create local theme parks across the globe.” They only have 12 theme parks, they do have water parks put those are just that water parks not theme parks!! You should educated yourself before you comment and that mice chat also lists there sports park which in no way counts. lmao
For some of us in Northern Ohio, we find this amusing in that cedar fair bought Geauga Lake and Sea World (Ohio) in order to dismantle the competition and left a whole community with a pile of rubble in Aurora, Ohio.
Honestly, aside from the factual errors in this article, this would be a very bad idea, SeaWorld can’t even properly operate their own parks, what makes them think they could handle Cedar Fair parks?
Not to mention SeaWorld broke almost every single promise they made to their passholders during the closures, Cedar Fair on the other hand not only kept every promise they made, but exceeded them.
Kind of surprised that Cedar Fair parks are only worth $3.4 billion – pretty small change by todays standards! I would think Knott’s alone would be worth at least $1 billion, as well as Cedar Point.
So overall, and considering the poor reporting from this site, I doubt this is accurate.

They do operate and own 17 parks! Go on their web site and you’ll see what they own.
Todays article (Feb 2) on micechat.com lists them all.

You should also mention that this was an unsolicited offer from SeaWorld. You make it sound like Cedar Fair is up for grabs.

Mogul means “An important or powerful person”.
SeaWorld is not a person. No company is a person, therefore, no company can be a Mogul.
This is the strangest use of the word “Mogul” that I have ever seen.

You badly need new writers, and perhaps an actual editor
