As a parent, I’m not sure how that’s supposed to work. Am I supposed to believe Grogu is going to be ok with never seeing his father’s face again after he re-baptizes himself? Grogu didn’t grow up as a Mandalorian. Adherence to such strict dogma where a young child is concerned seems unkind. I’d rather see Din make a conscious choice to keep his helmet on for protection and anonymity, but not take it so far that he has to deny Grogu the reassurance or comfort he would get from seeing his face.
