Was very disappointed overall. The boba scenes felt anticlimactic and the rest felt like mando season 2.5. Feel like they should’ve done a rated R boba show showing him mercilessly killing people. Hope they do a season 2 to fix their mistakes
I have been a Star Wars Fan since 1977. I was five when it was released. I love every single episode of The Book of Boba Fett and the Mandalorian. I can’t wait for more.
Right on. These wanker’s have no idea what they are talking about. Most liked this series. These writers, everyone of them are idiots, they take a tweet and write a story around it. It’s pathetic.
Great series, These idiot writes find a few negative tweets then write a story around it. Cad Bane was old. The Rancor was epic and the child putting to sleep was epic. None of these writers has a clue and what is worse is the few wanker’s that agree with them.
If you enjoyed Disney Star Wars great I’m happy for you but I’m just burnt with everything leading towards the last Jedi and Rise of skywalker. Disney doesn’t know what they are doing but from where I stand this is where the apathy truly sets in from here on out.
I’m a Star Wars fan from the beginning and Boba is my favorite character. My expectations may have been too high for this but I thought it was just OK.
Most of my Star Wars friends agree that is was just OK and underwhelming. With that, looking forward to Obiwan and Andor along with season 3 of the Mandalorian.
You put the wrong words in quotes. The ones complaining are probably the same ones wondering why Obi-Wan Kenobi is coming out on May 25th. That season was better than Mandalorian season 1 and parts even rivaled Clone Wars.
Um yeah sure. As a 77’ original, anyone who liked this absolute dumpster fire of an incoherent mess that eventually leads to Rey Palpatine can go stick a Tico Massage Helper up their sh**ter. You’re the people who encourage this garbage.
I think only the true fans, the ones that expect better and hope and pray for the exact same contribution from the producers, writers and directors understand. The false believers will never understand and will only be content with mediocre stories. They will always be that way for they are sheep. These are mediocre fans and no one listens to them anyway. Haha. Yup, Robert Rodriguez sucks! This is a looney series. Lots of mistakes. Don’t cry.
Amen. Exactly. True fans understand that this series is table droppings from Kennedy’s plate. Meant to entice and it still leads to the conclusion of the Palpatine saga. 🤮
This comment thread is a joke!
The series was good (not great, but good), as well as the Mandalorian! Only thing I had an issue with is having a couple episodes dedicated to Din Djarin and Grogu, when it should be primarily BOBA FETT (like, hello this is “the Book of Boba Fett”, not “the Book of Boba Fett and the Mandalorian”. Those episodes could’ve easily be part of Season Three of Mando no problem.
My issue is that throughout this season, when it’s great, Favreau and Filoni gets praise for it; but when it’s a “bad” episode or something feels off, then it’s “DiSnEy/KeNeDdY rUiNeD sTaR WaRs”, or that “real fans don’t enjoy”, and my favorite “if you enjoy these mediocre stories you’re a sheep”.
For god sakes people, get over it. Personally I prefer the days when Boba Fett was a ruthless bounty hunter who could stand up to Vader on occasion and later became Man’dalor (even trained Jaina Solo to kill her brother Jacen/Darth Caedus), but you don’t hear me whining about it like some entitled man child!
Also – Disney has already said that Mando, Boba, an the Ashoka show are all telling the same story and will culminate in some sort of major event (probably a movie) so that’s why there was so much mando in it.
There’s always the elite Stars Wars ‘back in my day 1977’ fans who look down on this because it doesn’t suit their expectations, or isn’t relevant to the whole genre. So what? The point Is to enjoy it and not destroy it and your viewing, like taking insta pics of food before you eat it.
But it’s because of us that you have all this pop culture. We paved the way by embracing Star Wars. Unfortunately the people in charge aren’t talented. So we get recycled drivel as opposed to tapping into the vast EU for some great stories.
I’m only going to say this once. If you don’t like something, that is okay. But, if you continue to tear people down who like that something you don’t like, that makes you a jerk. Don’t let the fact that you don’t like something ruin the enjoyment of others.
There is room enough in the world for those who like something and those who don’t like something. No need to tear them apart over them enjoying it more than you did.
That said, I loved the series as a whole. I have spoken. Don’t bother tearing me apart about my comments. I won’t read it anyway.
The episode was strange. All hands on deck. Who’d ever think that Grogu would get involved in the street fight? Who’d ever think that R2D2 would pilot Luke’s X-Wing, landing at Mos Eisley? And a wild west draw?
🤣🤣I was waiting for Clint Eastwood to show up when Cad Bane showed up. It was Truly a Clint Eastwood Entrance, but lacked a Great fight scene & ending for Cad Bane. To tame for me 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Oh well you can’t always get the GOOD, the BAD & even the UGLY 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking something very similar to that affect because they had ended with Baby Grogu & Master Luke sitting down and Master Luke was sharing with Grogu that he could only choose one or the other & then here he (Grogu) shows up in an Xwing flyer looking for Mando & also showing that he’s wearing the super cute & tiny Vescar chain Mail little shirt that Mando had made for his little Foundling. 🤔🤔🤔
This ending of Boba was Pretty good & not great. The fight scene should have been More Epic to me. Mixing the New young blood kids with the old blood characters didn’t work for me. It lost something along the way & It didn’t make that much sense to me. While it was Wonderful to see Mandio & Baby Cutie pie Grogu, again TO ME, the majority of those senes made it feel like l was watching the Mandalorian instead of the Book of Boba Fett 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ Can’t wait until the next chapter of the Mandalorian comes out 🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉🥳🎉
Reminder, its titled the “Book” of Bobba Fett, not the mini series of Bobba Fett. Is it Perfect, No, but I am trusting the process. For decades I had to wait Years between Movies, I am happy we(fans) are getting Star Wars at all.No one is forcing anyone to watch, so if u don’t like it or refuse to aapericate it ,thats on U.If some of U can do better then the current group of Directors then Prove it.
BoBF was terrible from start to finish. It saddens me that a beloved character for decades ended up with this show. I can’t believe this was the best story line they could come up with. I’m treating this the same way I treated the sequel trilogy……. Like it never existed.
Show would be far better if it stuck to the main character. I thought I was watching bobo fett. Leave grugo to the mandalorian series. Also like the comment jumping all over. If want people to know of up coming series, advertise it but stick to the name of the series. However I enjoyed ever few minutes that bobo n allies were actually in.
I find it fascinating that people nowadays expect a series to be perfect with limited episodes. The book of boba Fett only had seven episodes for one season. It takes at least double that amount for a standard television show to gain any traction in both story-wise and fan base. People just need to calm the f down and enjoy what they’re getting. Because those that are complaining the most are sounding like a bunch of little 5-year-old brats who aren’t getting their way because Mommy won’t buy their action figure in the store.

It’s a great show and if there are any naysayers then they are not fans of Star Wars and don’t understand anything about that fandom

It also wonders me if Luke Skywalker lost Grogu back to the Mandalorian? Grogu was wearing the flak shirt given to him by Mandalorian.

Episode was fine. Loved the Rancor. Cad Bane is not dead. The flashing audible beacon on his upper right chest seemed to make that pretty clear.
